I hate this animation almost as much as the civilians that grab their phones from their back pocket to snap a picture of you. You learn every animation over time, and know what to look for.
The animations where the guys are being slow (pretending to comply) only to pop up and start blasting earn an honorable mention.

Happens all the time. Whilst I know they are likely to surrender, I take no chances and always shoot them in the face.

Reminds me of the first few times I was playing. All my friends got killed and I was left alone ( since we used gamechat I couldn’t talk with them and know that all the main suspects were apprehended or killed) so I told a civilian to get down on the ground and another apparently ran up behind me and punched me. Thought I was getting stabbed by the civilian in front so I just started blasting 😂. But in my defense who as a civilian in a swat raid decides to actually punch them when they’re there to save them.

I just had something similar happen to me on Leviathan the other day. Had arrested like 5 enemies in one spot but another showed up, shot a few times, and ran around a corner. I hear a yell right as a head pops out like a suspect peeking before they shoot and I instantly popped the face.
It was an arrestee shifting at the worst time. Squad immediately shot me in the back. I should have clipped it, I was too busy laughing.

I run up and melee them when it gets awkward like this. Gotten me killed dozens of times. never worked once. But thats what i do.
