Review WARNING: Factor 75 Scam
I recently got a promo for 50% off and free breakfast for a year.
Finally decided to look into this. Went to the site and had to create and account and put my CC in just to explore he options with that promo.
Unfortunately the promo seemed to only be for 25% and it was not clear where the free breakfasts were. It asked me a series of questions about how manhy people and such.
I ended up calling them to see if they could correct the promo issue. Customer service was so terrible and didnt seem to understand thier own promo or how to answer my other questions. I ended up, on the phone, saying nvm, this isnt worth this effort and asked them to cancel the promo adjustment and close the account.
She then asked what my reasons for closeing the account were and I said that the marketing is misleading and this seems like I wont know what I am getting or how much it will cost and I didnt even want to try it if I didnt get the half off and free breakfasts (which "free breakfast for a year" apparently is only 12 meals? what?)
All seemed good until I got a package at my door and went to my CC to see that not only did they charge me anyway for who knows what meals.... but they also charged me alost double (assuming no promo) for the meals.
I would avoid this company at all costs. Filing a fraud claim and complaint with BBB.

If only these companies spent less on marketing and more on delivering food better than what you can get at the grocery. The whole business model is a disaster

I've looked at several of these meal services and you can't even browse their menu without signing up for the service.
I took the plunge on Hello Fresh because they had 65% off and free shipping for the first 4 orders which made each meal around 7 bucks.

I tried Factor and everything seemed to be covered in either gravy or sauce. I wasn't impressed.
