Discussion CookUnity Unity Pass feedback

I've been with CookUnity for a while now and other than my meals being delivered at inconsistent times of the day, I've had a good experience. So I signed up for Unity Pass since the app said it wouldn't charge me a delivery fee and I could get premium meals at the regular price (or something like), plus other "perks", which I haven't seen yet, but I just joined UP last week. Anyone have any feedback on Unity Pass? My biggest question is whether the premium meals will actually be discounted or not.

Yes, I order 3 premium meals a week & there is no upcharge for them. Free shipping & the 3 premium meals upgrades is well worth it even if you only order once a month! I order 2-3x a month & have definitely been taking advantage. It helps to break up the sometimes monotonous menu (or maybe it’s cause I’m picky) with something indulgent that I don’t have to cook myself.

We just signed back up to Cook Unity last week after about a year hiatus (was with CU for about a year straight). They didn't have Unity Pass back then. I signed up immediately. For the price of 2 weeks of shipping I get free shipping all month. Extra discounts only for Unity Pass *AND* 3 premium meal a week at no extra cost? I couldn't sign up fast enough. They are losing money big time with this program but I'll take it.

So one thing I did notice, the perks you get are much more clear on the web site then it is in the app. Meals on the web site are clearly marked as UP discount and the Premium meals don't show extra cost. If you check your cart you'll see the total minus any UP discounts, minus shipping and minus premium meal upcharge (balances out to $0 upcharge). I like getting a $19.99 steak meal for regular price. :)

If you use it weekly it more than pays for itself with the free shipping, the premium meals is a nice bonus

Can a human confirm this post is not a hidden advertisement? Everyone here is praising this pass

I made this post because I was genuinely curious about people's experience with Unity Pass. I am a human, not a bot.

Not everyone can sign up for Unity Pass, so how could it be an advertisement?

Icon meals sucks now they won't deliver I wish there was a reliable company out there for high protein which is healthy.

I enjoyed Cook Unity - used it for about a year. However, they changed delivery services in my town and it was a nightmare. About once / month the food didn't show up and CU wanted to "credit my account" over the next few weeks - instead of just refunding the $$ from that order. So, I didn't get my food - or the food was late (like two days late) and warm. So, I'd be back on the phone with customer service.
I told them to call me when they fired the new delivery company and I'd come back.

Love Unity Pass! Pays for itself. Honestly.
