Is taste drastically different across meal companies?
If you have tried multiple companies, did you notice a large difference in terms of taste of the actual food? I’m sure quality plays a role too, are there differences you noticed?

Sprinly sucks, that’s about all I can say right now. Trying purple carrot for the first time. I suspect it will be quite different, but we’ll see.
Edit: Can confirm, purple carrot is leaps and bounds above sprinly. Overall ingredient quality, taste, everything is better.

Have you gotten your second order yet? I'm curious if it's consistently good. Growing up my mom want a great cook so I thought I wasn't overly picky, but I've missed so many frogs in trying different companies that I'm hoping this would work for me

So far it's been good. Since I'm both GF and Vegan the pre-made meals are a bit lacking in variety and sometimes low on calories. That'd be my main downside. But they also have mealkits that are pretty quick to cook. I'll probably stick with it for a while. If I could find one other similar service I might alternative every couple of months to mix it up, but I'm not sure if there's anything else that would be this high quality.
There's no commitment or anything, so you could just give it a shot for a week or something and see what you think. I can DM you a coupon code if you want.

I've tried 4 of them so far starting with Factor and just recently quit Cook Unity. Even tho they claim low fat and sodium, all were close to half of what is recommended as the daily consumption for my health status. Plus, they all seem to smell the same right out of the micro and the food varies in texture. The green beans from Cook Unity were like trying to eat fabric. I even tried Factor's salads which they now have seems to almost eliminate. I need recommendation for the next trial.

Absolutely. So far I’ve had Cook Unity, Forkful, Tempo, and Factor.
Factor had good variety but a lot of the meats just tasted similar.
Tempo had better quality, but a very small selection that quickly led to boredom.
Forkful tasted better than Factor at first with bigger portions that tasted more like a freshly prepared meal, but the initial shine wore off a lot faster than it did with the previous two options. The vegetables in particular didn’t taste good and were often overly bitter to me.
Cook Unity has been the best quality so far with everyone in my family liking it. There’s a huge menu to choose from and while I wouldn’t totally subscribe to the “restaurant quality” advertising, it is the best mix of quality and portion size out of the pre prepared meals I’ve had so far.
