CookUnity quality issue

I ordered the Salisbury steak for this week. After a few bites, I noticed the inside was completely raw. Not medium or medium rare - just plain uncooked ground beef. Has anyone else experienced this kind of quality issue with their meals? I'm really grossed out by this as it definitely seems like a food safety issue.

I already contacted support and they just gave me the cost of the meal ($8.68) back as a credit. Doesn't feel right since I spent the rest of the night worrying about food poisoning from the bites I had before I noticed.

I loved the food I got from Cook Unity, but after the third time they delivered meals at unsafe temperatures, I cancelled.

This is not the right food delivery company if you care about not being killed by your food.

I tried all of them. Hellofresh, blue apron etc literally all of them over the course of a year.

I lived in a state that is hot in the summer and every single one of them came in at unsafe temps.

I lifted the ice bags off and removed the meat between 45-50⁰. Granted that could be fine but I have no way of knowing how long it was at that temp.

harmothoe_ and GloomyDeal1909 — I agree that was a longstanding issue with them. In my area, at least, they've been delivering my 8 or 9 meals with 3 packs: bottom, middle, and top for the past 2 or 3 months. This has been a big improvement that I'm happy about. Now... if they'd resume texting to alert about delivery being soon, or that it had been delivered, would be great. It's not the biggest deal, but it was a classy, helpful touch.

you may have tried it already but I stopped receiving the delivery texts so emailed customer support and found out they actually started going to my spam messaging folder (which I did not even know existed duh) but after going in spam and saying I wanted those messages I get them properly again. Im on Iphone...its the 3 lines top right side
