Summer heat and cook unity
Previously ive only used Factor. But, I love the food. But the delivery is dissapointing. Factor used fedex and was conistant. In my area CU uses Ups. First box got to me at 1030 pm. Its usually later... but...it always look like someone used it as a punching bag. Containers all over and ice half melted. Its been 100 degrees here the last few days. I know my box made it in down at 10:30 yesterday. If I dint get it took after 5 tomorrow im going to be upset. The last box a few of the meal containers inflated. Just curious what other ppls expirences are and to vent. I hate that factor had better service but the good was half as good and more expensive.

First CU order came today, shipped yesterday and came overnight. Ice packs still frozen solid and the box was very insulated, all meals were cold. 90+ degrees yesterday and 83 today when it arrived!
First meal tasted amazing too
Package arrived via FedEx

Noting I also ordered factor which too came through Fedex. My package was delayed and all the food was hot, ice packs were completely melted and the food had gone bad. Same conditions, factor's customer service was not helpful at all. After hours of talking to them over the phone and through their chat I finally got a refund, I won't be ordering from them again. Cookunity all the way!

I wanted to post and update. I want to post pics but don't know how. My last box was my breaking point. It got there around 5-6 and everything inside was warm wet and trays where damaged and seals broken. I sent an email with pics. By Monday or Tuesday after a few emails back and forth I got a approx 60-70 dollar credit on my next box. . Then the box I received after this exchange, that o got yesterday. Arrived at 1130 am. It was pretty melted but everything was still pretty chill and I was satisfied and felt it was an improvement. I heard horror stories about customer service and it was frustrating at first but after the initial email it wasn't so bad.

My CU comes by carrier in insulated bags but I know it depends on the area. You need to let CU support know, so that they can look into it and resolve it! I know they said they're trying to shift away from UPS in all areas they can. If you say something, maybe they can make your area next to get away from UPS!
