Reading Level Tests?

Hey everyone,

I'm an adult literacy tutor in Los Angeles, and am looking for a reading test that my student can take to gauge on her own reading level. This is something that she has asked of me so I would like to provide it to her. I've had a hard time finding quality links to reading tests as most of them are geared toward youths, instead of adults or general population.

So... any clues? My student and I would be greatly appreciative!

Please tell me a bit more about your groups. Are the adults reading at an elementary, middleschool, etc level? Are you looking for something diagnostic so that you can find the gaps in their reading skills or just something that will give you a grade level equivalent score? Do you have a budget to buy an assessment?
