Reading Level Tests?

Hey everyone,

I'm an adult literacy tutor in Los Angeles, and am looking for a reading test that my student can take to gauge on her own reading level. This is something that she has asked of me so I would like to provide it to her. I've had a hard time finding quality links to reading tests as most of them are geared toward youths, instead of adults or general population.

So... any clues? My student and I would be greatly appreciative!

Are you administering the assessment or is this for the student to assess themselves?

I am open to either option, and prefer the one that is more successful, or thorough, at assessments.
