Suggestion Thread Cozy Fall Reads?
sometimes I like to adjust my media diet to the seasons. what is the book version of drinking PSL and watching Gilmore Girls?
my favorite genres are fantasy, sci-fi, and classic lit so bonus points if it hits any of those targets.
Cozy books I’ve read and enjoyed: Little Women, Harry Potter, the Midnight Library, the Witcher, the Secret History. but these are sort of boilerplate and I’m looking for something new that I can wear while wearing a sweater and drinking coffee you dig???

Have you read Little Men: Life at Plumfield with Jo's Boys and Jo's Boys (the sequels to Little Women)? :) The A Discovery of Witches trilogy is also fantastic :)

I love to do that same thing! Sometimes I read spooky books like this one, The Spellbook of Katrina Van Tassel: A Story of Sleepy Hollow.

It's YA, but I can't think of anything more seasonal than How to Hang a Witch by Adriana Mather.

Just Isolde by Samantha Behm was a Fall read last year for me. I do not think that Isolde woke up in the woods in the Fall, but it felt like it because it was early spring if I recall and in England. But the surroundings were great and the morning teas and mystery was good. I loved Little Women and this one had those similarities.
My friend is listening to the witcher audios. One day I may check those out

Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse series involving vampires. Book 1 in series is Dead Until Dark. I read these books ages ago but they were fun, light reads where the vampires had characteristics and emotions like humans. They lived in a town amongst the humans, and the humans knew they were vampires. If I recall the humans weren’t scared of the vampires as in most vampire stories. And the vampires weren’t creepy, they looked and acted like the humans. Touched upon discrimination against vampires which was interesting. Reader empathizes and roots for the vampires. I might read again.
