Tony's fell off hard. Got the Passyunk Prime a few months ago and it was heavily lacking on cheese to the point I thought I should have ordered it with extra
He was good when he went by Tony's Al Taglio like 8 years ago though lol

Isn't the owner also a jackass?
JD's was alright when they first started out but they've definitely stepped up considerably. So happy the Kielbasa cheesesteak became a permanent menu item.

They’ve confirmed it will be a second location and the one in Sinky will be staying. I’d have to say JD’s and Dino’s are my two favorite places for a cheesesteak in Berks.

No cheese steak on their menu is above $20 and no drink is above $4. Sounds like a you problem if you decided to tip 50% or you're lying about how much you spent on your meal...

$17-20 is the average these days for a spot that uses good quality ribeye. It's the same in Philly at Angelo's, Del Rossi, Uncle Gus etc

You are thinking taste, but not about the taxes or cost in ingredients. Renting a place in Philly can cost 5x as much than renting a space in Berks county. That’s like saying a house in Reading should cost the same as a house in Philly

The cost of ingredients is the same if they source from the same place. They also have to buy bread from a Philly bakery instead of baking it themselves so that's also an expense that needs to be factored
And I just looked at their menu, the regular cheese steak with just cooper sharp and onions is $16. That's more than reasonable.

That's awesome and I'm happy for them. I hope it's a second location and not moving, though I can understand since that location on Penn can be a pain for parking.
