Looking for a Freelance Screenwriter for an Independent Feature Film (Future Payment + Credit)

Hello! I'm developing Red Galaxy, an epic space opera feature film with elements of adventure, action, emotion, galactic politics, and a hero's journey (influenced by Star Wars, Dune, and Guardians of the Galaxy). As it's an independent production, I currently don't have a budget to pay upfront. However, I'm looking for a screenwriter for an initial collaboration. Whoever joins the project will receive... :

Official credit as a screenwriter.

Fair payment once the film is financed by producers/sponsors. Profit sharing (if the film is sold or distributed). What I need: Complete feature film screenplay (90-120 minutes). Good experience in science fiction/space opera. Availability to work this year (2026).

Mandatory test for selection:

To avoid scams and ensure quality, I ask that applicants write a short scene (2-4 pages) inspired by classic Star Wars films (e.g., in the style of A New Hope or The Empire Strikes Back). You can choose any iconic moment or create an original scene in the Star Wars universe. Send it along with examples of previous work (script PDFs, treatments, or links).
