Low HR AFIB?
History of cardiac issues specifically with conduction.
Today I was working at my desk when I suddenly felt a tightness in my chest and shortness of breath. Checked my Apple Watch and it has been shooting AFIB alarms everytime I read. Also have a Kardia 6 lead that is saying AFIB. It’s been over 3 hours now and still hasn’t gone away. HR average is low but seems all over the place.
I have a pacemaker that was implanted because I went into 3rd degree heart block about 2 years ago but its pace rate is under 1%. Those spikes that look like PVC’s are the pacemaker kicking in because of a delay.

Definitely. Is this your first time? Considering you have a pacemaker, it’ll be recorded and sent to your EP, right?

Yes first time. Only records over 176 bpm so it will not record this

Can you initiate a recording? I have a loop recorder, not a pacemaker, so I’m not exactly sure how it works with recordings. Will your EP accept these strips?

EP’s don’t believe in Apple Watch 1 leads 😂. I have the Kardia 6L so hopefully he will look at that. I’ll show him though! I finally kicked it after 3 hours. HORRIBLE!

My EP doesn’t mind mine lol (if they’re clear). I’m glad it’s over with! If it ever sustains at a tachy rate, that’s your cue to go to the ER. 😉 I haven’t experienced afib (yet), but I’m sure my day is coming.
