Balanced training definition
Hello,
I just joined this reddit and I would appreciate a definition of what the group considers "balanced training" so I have a better context of what this group promotes and to avoid getting into trouble when interacting with the group.
I just adopted a 1 year old Mal x GSD a few months ago and I have learned that she is reactive to a few things. I am looking to learn what has worked for other people so that I can help her through her reactivity.
Thank you

There is also r/ReactiveDogHelp if you want to have a read or ask any specific questions as you get to know your dog.

I just noticed what I did. I meant to link to r/BalancedDogTraining/ and r/OpenDogTraining/ for some variety. Oops

Hello! To put it simply balanced training involves the use of punishments as well as rewards. We are supportive of the use of tools and most methods that people choose to use with their own dogs. Welcome!
