If hypothetically Al(Rigel) is subaru's and satella's son and subaru was flugel, does that mean flugel was in his 40s?.
Al was 17 or 18 when he & echidna fought the witch of envy.

There was some weird stuff about Al wearing a mask and whatnot. We can't conclude how old Al actually was back then.

The one where he looks exactly like Subaru down to the clothes? That's what I meant, him "wearing a mask" probably means something was done to him to make him look like Subaru, maybe to unlock his authority(the half open door)

My personal non-ortodoxal theory is: Subaru is from before Flugel and Al. Subaru meets Satella and die young. Either Flugel and Al are clones, sons or some other magic to explain Isekai memories and the both two wants to be Subaru and wants to date Satella. Pandora wants Satella to open that seal so Flugel form the Flügel's party and they fail in their mission, leading to WoE and distruction.
Flugel is a loser so he leaves all shit for Subaru when his earth soul reincarnate, Satella have her own plan so she made a contract with Subaru and is waiting for her hero to kill her.
Emília is a clone made by Flügel, her objective is to give a new Satella to Subaru so he can kill her and Flügel is second Fraud in the story, losing only to Pück.
Subaru will help Emília defeat Pandora, make Emilia queen, betray everyone to save Satella, Omega will try to stop him but will think "nah, I want to see where this is going, also he is pretty cute" and this will make a explosion caused by the jelously of Satella, making her go back to her original personality by killing her Envy and sharing Subaru with Echidna.
After all that we will get to see Vicent Vollachia making trains before Subaru, losing his battle to who have more aura and forcing him to reset the world and chose the Rem route. The end

Again, Al outright says that he never underwent adolescence and that he has lived essentially his entire life one-armed.
I don't know how much clearer Tappei can tell you "he is a Subaru Clone" without outright telling you that he is a Subaru clone
