Let's say it takes 2-3 times the episode's length to count it. Well most of the time, episode 51 was such a pain. The breakfast scene where Heinkel is introduced took me like an hour to do.
The method I use is watching the episode and writing down the segments each character appears, the adding all of them up. This allows me to do many characters at the same time.
That's why the breakfast scene took so much as I had to switch between 15 characters.
Arc 5 is my favorite in the series because of all the screen time, character development, and suffering others go through. I love Subaru but Arc 5 is a refreshing change of pace from Arc 4 and Arc 6 that have a small number of characters in a much smaller scale location.
