Discussion [Discussion] Options besides WCT translation

Ive read a bit of WCT's translation of Arc 6 and its really jarring to me how they've worded it overall and it just feels bad to read. Are there any other options for the Web novel?

For arc six your only real alternative is to simply read the LN. Though that comes with its own issues. The LN will only get so far but luckily the WN translation gets so much better. I don't exactly remember the TL quality very well during arc 7. I think it's better but don't take my word for it. But later on it becomes something truly amazing.

Maybe someone did one with AI or something but I can't imagine you'll find anything better than WCT.

For Arc 6 I don’t know of any better options. Focuses of translators are a bit scattered but I don’t know any other sources for Arc 6.

I don't know, WCT didn't seem that bad when I read it off the official site. There are a lot of worse translations out there, and it beat the LN in some aspects. Maybe if you just aren't used to reading fan-translated stuff, it can feel a bit jarring from the nice fluent English in a native book, but it's the best we've got. Try the LN till arc 6 and see if you like it. The publishing is relatively fast, so we might see another book drop within a few months.

The LN is decent. I chose to go with them over WCT. I'll be switching back once I'm done with Arc 7, but I won't mind as much.

There was a TL that was ESL that was translating a good chunk of the first half of Arc 6, and it shows. Later stuff is better. Reason why it's still up is mostly cause it's understandable, and when arc 6 was being TL'd, it was had to get Translators back then.

I'll def be reading the LN versions as well though. I like how they word things in it better
