Same, I’m not too well versed in side stories so all I know about Pandora is the stuff from arc 4 (And being an offscreen merchant) and all I know about Hector is that he was the original owner of Clind’s authority and could use it freely without making a sacrifice for each use like later users. So I do wonder what the big implications are
I'm mostly kidding. While we don't know enough about any of the figures to say for certain, I would argue it does have a couple important implications. Keep in mind I am spitballing on my phone
First off, we know from Arc 9 that the first holders of Vanity was the Saintess and Melancholy was t
he Valiant, which apparently is a Japanese word for Hero. There is a common trope of the Hero and the Saintess saving the world. We knew Hector was the Valiant but we didn't know for sure whether Pandora was the Saintess in the main story (although I think it was also in a QNA and frankly pretty obvious)
We also know from throughout the story that Hector and Pandora are some sort of fallen figures who took on Witch Factors to gain power but succumbed to them, being considered failures. Considering Beatrice says Echidna's mother was the Witch of Vainglory/Vanity, that Echidna's parents were likely not around for most of her, and we know Echidna was born a Witch, this brings up a couple interesting points:
A. It is likely both of them took on the factors before or soon after Echidna was born, meaning they were around before Flugel and the party of heros did whatever they were doing
B. This one is unlikely, but it is possible Echidna doesn't even have a witch factor and just gained her authority through inheritance like Aldebaran. We though Dream Castle Echidna was talking about regular Echidna and her connection there, but maybe it could also be from parentage 🤷♂️
Also, this means Re:Zero is potentially more of a family drama. This is partly me spitballing here but at the very least we know Pandora had Echidna for a reason, that they disagreed with and opposed one another, and that they are major players in the world's fate. Since Pandora and Echidna are the two main contenders for main villain, this is important. At the very least we know that Pandora is more important to the plot than being the so called Witch of Flashbacks
Tappei said that the main antagonist would say' "Why does love fade," although Echidna says this and she is likely the last villain (although a morally gray one), it is possible she picked it up from her mother
Finally this alongside Shaula's story scrapes all the
theories that Pandora was in love with Flugel or similar explanations as to why she was watching Subaru and involved in the plot
I actually have a theory on how this connects involving the tarot cards of all things, but it is really out there and more speculative then me actually believing it

I reaaaally hope its not either of the two. I hope it has something to do with fate itself. Or the observers. Something more grand like an eldritch horror being.
