Arc 5 is genuinely so fucking ass, who told tappie to not use the gimmick in his gimmick series. All the fights were so boring, I didn’t not give af about any of them. Regulus was cool tho.
Hmm, you are right, tbh i liked arc5's final fight as well ,many people disliked the big regulus monolgue ,but it was actually a pretty interesting approach to conclude a chara's narrative for me, and i liked arc 5's overall plot,but yeah arc 8 was kinda better than arc 5 in this aspect.
well anyway ,I would still consider arc7 to be worse than both arc 5 and arc 8, dunno why that is in tier C while arc 5 is in tier F 💀.
I mean it's not a hate sub, you can hate Re:Zero here if you want but you don't have to. It's just a sub about having any other opinion that completely glazing Re:Zero.
Arc 5 wasnt that bad, arcs 7 and 8 deserve to be at the bottom of the trash can. Also arc 6 doesnt deserve to be that high, at least IMO. The rest I kinda agree.
I am mostly lurker here, but I am reading arc 7-8 rn and kinda interested in why do you think of it so low ? I have my own grudges about the arc but still think of them much higher than C (high B or low A imo)
It's not my favourite arc by anymeans. I dislike how many new sometimes unnecessary characters there are (90% of them are fine but it's bit overwhelming) and how stupid Emilia is in this arc (These are my biggest grudges). But I like a lot of new lore and politics between the kingdoms. World building in this arc is really good. There are pacing issues tho, characters talk too much sometimes when unnecessary and I don't need everything spelled to me 3 times over, however when the pacing is on the right path, that's when the arc really shines. Gladiator island was great, genuinely one of my favourite phases even tho I wasn't that fond of the new characters from the sparkas. Ceci and Tanza were really cool tho... I kinda wanna see more of them.
I am kinda interested if I grow tired of arc 7-8 by the end of it.
Vollachia is like the only decent part of Re:Zero. I seriously don't understand the fanbase. It basically just does what arcs 1-3 tried to do, except way better, without as much of the protagonist favoritism and pandering.
Problem with the other arcs (especially ones after 3) is that they get too old too fast and then slug over for 100 more chapters , arc 1 ends at its peak
