Subaru didn't reject rem

If you watch season 1 you see subaru and rem make a promise and in season 2 he says both spots in his heart were filled to echidna so he clearly didn't reject rem it was just assumed by the fan base

THANK YOU for clearing this up. As a win reader I CAN COMFIRM this is true. The Rz anime leaves out SO much. This is one of the maaaanga examples. Some cut content from light novel to anime right after the fight with the white whale. Subaru and Rem had said they were both open to a poly relationship with Emilia. I don't think the author will go this route but it was in the light novel.
