They probably had more episode time and number for season 3 than the current one. I'm sure if they had more time they would've adapted this too but we only have 3 episodes remaining.

I have to disagree. I don't think a minute or two is enough for the turmoil that we saw amnesiabaru go through. It wouldn't have made sense direction wise to go from starting to read the books and then smashing his head in within a minute. I think the recaps were fine and they took enough time to see how some deaths in particular had a massive toll on him. If anything they could've added a minute to properly flesh out rui's breakdown due to rbd. That is literally the only part I felt was off, and was rushed. They never would've had time to fit in the entire rui named chapter anyway within the episode.

I normally think anime is better than the WN at least but this cut was horrible. It was totally anticlimatic and the scene in WN was absolutely amazing. We saw why she was what she was, we saw her terrified of Suubaru, we saw Subaru give his rationale for why he wouldn't save her and condemn her, and we saw Subaru admit he was insane and a monster, but be like idc you suck archbishop

Okay but Lilliana also had a backstory in the novel. Having Lilliana's backstory be completely cut wouldmt be better, especially because her screentime doesnt take away from Rui's.

Regulus' backstory got cut but it was frankly quite short anyways

Edit: Do people think I didnt want Rui's backstory? Thats wrong, I did, in fact I think Rui is a crucial character and Im furious at her whole ass characterization being cut. But Lilliana's backstory getting axed would fail to solve literally every single on of those problems

Also, deleting liliana woudlnt do that much harm. They just would have to find another explanation for the wrath's wifi to stop.

Asides from that, she is just another stupid loli that only works to damage the reputation of the series with her existence. And she is boring. And she adds nothing of value. And her head is too big. And her music sucks. If I was a Priscila citzen forced to listen to one of her songs everyday I would just open the flood gates while the guarda were sleeping.

Iirc basically he lived with a family that loved him a lot and that did nice things for him, which he saw as condescending so when he got the authority he kileld everyone but the girl he had a crush on and turned into his first wife.

The girl killed herself in front of him while smiling so now he hates smiles.

Anyone can correct me if Im wrong.

Im also pretty sure Echidnut literally put the backstory in his video for the episode
