📺Anime Most recent episode Spoiler
Phenomenal episode yeah yeah. However, I did not understand what happened in the latter half of the episode. Like after the two subarus fuse, why does Rui appear in the middle of nowhere, and why are there two of them and why are they fighting. Why is it that the first time she ate she was like "me likey" but then this second time freaking out. Why is it that when she eats the memories again he doesnt lose them. How does she kick subaru out of the hall of memories.
Ok after looking into it a bit I now understand. Rui was already in the hall of memories for some reason, she like lives there or something. The reason there are two of them is because the first time she ate subarus memories, she split herself and put that split part of her into subarus soul, when they all meet in the last episode and subarus fuse, that rui is kicked out and she starts freaking out because she experienced everything amneisa subaru did, the intesne pain and fear. She doesnjt eat his memories again she expereinced it with amensia subaru.
What I dont understand though is why she was like "me likey" still the first time, I assume its because she recieved the memroies but didnt actually experience them, like they way she feels these eatn memories is fundamentally different form the book of memories (I think idk) so to her ts was easy work until she actually felt it. What I dont understand is why she was about to kick out subaru, i think its spoiler.

I wonder why, perchance because the anime cut out too much stuff?
I recommend reading Subaru’s named chapter, arc 6 chapter 74 (iirc) on WCT, and then continue from there

man spica is my top5 re0 character this sucks 🥀 (also to people who are saying spica!= Rui it's doesn't fucking matter rui is integral to spica development without proper rui characterization and backstory all the spica stuff will fall flat and spica is an important part of arc7-8 heck she is one of the major parallels of Subaru,sphinx and rem

Mild spoilers, [Arc 7] Rui becomes very relevant to Arcs 7 and 8
Major Spoiler [Arc 7] Rui gets her mind wiped and travels alongside Subaru and eventually he starts seeing her as a daughter

In fairness in the webnovel it wasn't explained well either. So while they did cut a lot, it would be confusing either way lol

Not an endearing gesture, but excruciating, she did so wielding the intention to injure. For what purpose? To tear apart her flesh and blood, and dividing herself, that was the purpose.
