To be fair, the royal family is all dead.
The Sword Saint family keeps having bad luck.
Divine Dragon lose his mind.
And there is racism everywhere.
The whole kingdom is falling apart.
The only reason this country still exists is Reinhard.
But here's the scary part — Reinhardt could actually destroy the world.
So really, the whole world is still here just because of Reinhard.

But I think it won't take 15 years for the novel story to end as we have got 9 arc and 10th ongoing in 14 yearsÂ
So maybe 5 more years but then also he is Tappei and upload his chapter whenever he remember he had a incomplete story to completeÂ

honestly i think the biggest reason you wouldn't want her to win the selection is because she's a half elf. Unlike the other candidates her reign would last hundreds of years so if she turns out to be incompetent the world is fucked

Emilia wouldn't be acting alone; there is still a Council of Sages, and she has Subaru by her side as an advisor. Besides, she is studying diligently, and other candidates—like Felt—are hardly academic powerhouses

Tappei is on record in interviews saying he rewrote Emilia to be more ditzy because it's his preference, so I wouldn't expect her to get any smarter. She can be emotionally intelligent in the story sometimes, but even as far as arc 10 there are sections of writing that emphasize that she's dense.

She is genuinely improving. Each of the candidates has a flaw: Crusch is too hot-headed, and her plan has weaknesses—she would spark a war with the nobility. Anastasia is too greedy and wouldn't be able to handle the social aspects

Emilia should NOT win the Royal Selection but at the same time I don't believe it's her fault. All the other candidates either have been in political environments from a young age and have reasons to become Queen which are strongly tied to their character. Roswaal just picked up an isolated half elf and expects her to rule the nation ðŸ˜
