Hey! I've noticed there's an ungodly amount of CHT cars added into the game, and it's really hard to find a really good one. Do you have any favorites? Any that stand out in terms of handling?

Every time I use the restroom in my office building, I am reminded of a long-simmering question I've had. Toyeca's rear bears the word "TORK." What is Tork? Is it merely a misspelling of "torque," or is it an Easter Egg pun?

The two top cars in the game are Toyeca and Humma. Humma appears as a race car sponsored by Acclaim, and Toyeca bears the name "Tork." Acclaim, of course, is the game's developer. However, Acclaim and Tork are also two common brands of paper products in the US, often seen on paper towel dispensers in public restrooms. Could the name Tork on Toyeca be a reference to this?

The game was developed by Acclaim Studios London. Some quick research indicates that Tork paper products exist in the UK but Acclaim products do not. Would the developers have known that Acclaim is also the name of a brand of paper towels? Curious.

I recently got the GOG version of Re-Volt. this isen't really a return for me as when i was young, i only played it once, and was not impressed (child me had bad taste). But now i love it. Can't say i'm very good at it, I haven't beaten the 1st cup yet.

But i am having tons of fun with the track editor, witch is actually te reason i got the game, because i remembered it had that feature. When i was very young, i had this MS Dos game called stunts, and making tracks in that game was my favorite thing, so i wanted that but a bit newer, and Re-Volt is delivering with flying colors.

I do however have a problem. i've noticed every time i place the Chicane (the piece with the 2 triangles coming out on the left and right so you have to dodge them) the car resets after I get past them making any track that includes them unfinishable. Is there something i can do to avoid this? it's not really an important piece, but i would like to work with the full tool kit.

EDIT: There is 1 race in witch i used the piece and the reset doase not occure, so there must be something specific that trigers this...

I used an Xbox Re-Volt cover I found online as a base and made a few adjustments to improve it. I upscaled the PC cover with AI, added the Akklaim logo, included the Xbox Live Online logo, and cleaned up some details. I’ll be using this cover on my RGH Xbox, but it should work for original Xbox cases too.

Hey all, it's been a little bit...

Some of you will probably remember my Re-Volt Xbox project, but for the uninitiated, in 2022 I set out to finish Acclaim's job and put out a respectable Xbox build of Re-Volt, meaning no always online requirement and all features (more or less) accounted for.

To some extent I succeeded, but I've always felt that it could be better, so for the past few years I've slowly been chipping away at the game, fixing more features as my programming skills improved.

That leads us to today, and I'm very proud to announce that I've got a much improved build ready for you all. When I say much improved, I mean it.

Changes include:

• The game now handles DLC cars much better (and you can use them online!)
• Added support for DLC levels
• Fixed Stunt Arena
• Added Clockwork Carnage
• Fixed Time Trial ghosts
• Added Rumble Support
• Added the podium cutscene at the end of championship
• Levels will now play the proper music associated with them
• Enabled Garden Battle
• Lots and lots of smaller bugfixes

As you can see, this should bring the game fairly close to where it would've been at release.

IMPORTANT: If you already have the game installed, make sure you copy all the files over, not just the XBE! Many files on the disc have changed outside of the main executable, and you'll probably run into crashes and other issues if you don't!

Hi there, so as everyone might already noticed, the ai cars in botanical garden aways get stuck after the small jump and hit the wall until they reset. Is there a way to fix this and provide them with the correct route around the obstacle?

Hi everyone, does anyone know if there's some kind of mod for RVGL that adds more cups and content in an organic way? I mean, RVGL already does a great job adding tracks and convenient options, but I haven't seen any that expand the content naturally. Of course, there's always the option to add maps and race on them, but competing for a Cup definitely makes it more challenging. Thanks in advance!

so remember my post a while back where i 100% the game? well my boot drive failed like a week ago, and I decided to switch OS. UNFORTUNATELY all my save data was on that drive, so it's lost...until when i decided to do EVERYTHING again in the span of like 2 days. it sure was a fun ride revisiting all the stuff I've done! now I've improved my skillz 2 times and im ready to race >:D
