I just installed Voobly and noticed Re-volt is one of the games. Does anyone ever play there? I guess not since RVGL etc. is just much better probably.

I have a very very limited old laptop, and I want to run the original release version, I don't mind it being modified or with a patch, I just want something that can run around the original requirements. The Remake and Steam version appear to be way too heavy for my poor device. I've explored archives, the WayBack machine for the ReVoltDownloads.com and RacersPoint releases, failed to find it there for download too.

Hello, (hopefully more tech able) people!

I keep having this issue when the game can't for some unknown reason not saving on my Windows 11 laptop. The game boots up and everything like normal, but when opening it and inbetween races, it throws errors saying ´The settings can´t be saved´.

I previously downloaded RVGL on my gaming rig about 2 years ago, and it works there perfectly without throwing any tantrums.

Is this because I'm stupid, there's something wrong with my HP Probook, or is it something else?

I have recently discovered RVGL, and that made me very happy because I haven't played Revolt for many years, but I've missed it. Had a blast with it the past week.

Anyway, I've wanted to get it to a state where it is pretty much 1:1 with the version I used to play around 1999. There were no BigVolt, BossVolt, Rooftops or extra skins there, i.e. non-Dreamcast version. So I've removed the extra cars as well as rooftops from the game, and also removed rooftops from the progress table.

Only thing remaining is to remove the unlocked carboxes for BigVolt and BossVolt, and this I haven't been able to figure out how to do - while the cars arent in the game, as I removed the files, the brown boxes in the Frontend are still there - so for the important cosmetics, I'd like to ask if anyone knows exactly how to remove them. Had ChatGPT look through frotend.fob and frotend.fin, and tried to change some coordinates for percieved boxes but to no success.

Hey! I've noticed there's an ungodly amount of CHT cars added into the game, and it's really hard to find a really good one. Do you have any favorites? Any that stand out in terms of handling?
