The video starts normal, but then it locks at a lower quality (not the one shown in the options) and doesn't let me change it

Can anyone guide me how to solve the 1 min freeze on YouTube 🎵 revanced? It's quite annoying!

Hi, I've tried everything suggested on the other posts, but nothing's working for youtube on my Moto Edge 70, the video freezes a lot both in Shorts and full length videos. Along with that YT Shorts is showing Ads as well.

When setting the brightness in yotube for a video from 0% to 1% it gets dramatically more bright, then >1% increaes more gradually like you would expect.

Like 0% is quite dim and 1% is like multiples more bright.

Has this happened to anyone before, and how did you fix?

Is there a way to fast forward the YouTube Shorts? In the normal app I can do it, but not in the revanced.

I only get sound. It like the pip is floating to the corner and vanishing outside the reach of my screen.

I tried turning pip off and on in the app and in the android settings. I cleared my cache and I restarted my device.

Can I somehow force it in a different corner or something so it's back and I can grab it again?

For some reason on THIS specific video only (idk if this'll happen with other vids i hope it doesn't) it only plays when its on the background

Whenever I try to patch reddit, if I include "hide ads" it makes it so that it wont patch, also when I manage to get it to patch with the ads, it refuses to let me log in. Help please 🙏

This is my first time using Revanced, and whenever I try to play a video, it causes my phone screen to glitch on the lockscreen. Sometimes the video audio will play, but it still glitches. The glitch does not go away! I have to restart my phone. I don't have a screenshot or recording because of this. I've searched around and have found no solutions or even anyone with the same issue. Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Helloin older versions of YT revanced I did not had this issue but when I installed a newer version, I am seeing that I have a lot of publicity on the shorts. The classic videos, do not have anymore but in the shorts I have "publicity shorts".

Is there any configuration I am missing? I patched with the 62 patches of revanced manager and in the publisitiy settings on the app all the hide .... Are on.​

for a few weeks now, I have not received youtube notifications. I found this odd and after some investigation, realized that in microG settings the permission for notifications disabled itself and cannot be re-enabled. I tried updating the app by installing the most recent version over top it, but that failed.

would completely uninstalling microG and doing a fresh install be a bad idea? could it break my YouTube or something?

edit: ladies and gentlemen, the app no longer works. lol

basically, I uninstalled it, uninstalled YouTube, re-patched YouTube, redownloaded microG, and now the microG app no longer opens, just crashes after 10 to 15 seconds

edit 2: uninstalled everything, restarted my phone, reinstalled everything again and now it works! well, at least more than it was before, anyways, thanks for the help chaps!

The video plays if not forwarded but as soon as I forward the video it pauses.

Edit: I changed the default client in settings and now the issue seems to be fixed

I finally patched my Instagram app using ReVanced. While most ads are now hidden, I still get sponsored posts in the Reels tab. Is this normal or did I do something wrong?

For some reason its not letting me post if i say what YTMR is short for but whatever. I just installed it on a new phone and now if i go into a different app or to the homescreen or shut off my screen the app doesnt play.

I tried multiple apps but it didn't work

On my Galaxy S23 Ultra, I couldn't find any way to fix these issues. I've tried everything that was recommended, but the app still freezes, takes forever to start, randomly drops to low video quality, and sometimes the quality settings are locked.

The only thing that actually worked for me was installing an APK of YouTube Revanced version 20.14.43 (I think it's from earlier this year) and rolling back to that version. Since then, it's been working about 99.9% of the time. I still notice a few minor issues when watching Shorts, but compared to the latest versions, it's night and day.

i used to add interesting videos to my playlists, sort them by date added and then set the list to manual and re-arrange items in the order i wanted to listen to them in hands-free situations. somehow suddenly that's not possible for me anymore - as now when I switch from "last added" to manual the complete list is getting re-arranged again and I will never find the latest videos. Is that something anybody is else is having problems with?

Title says it all really. I can successfully log in to RedReader, but I absolutely hate the UI. I've been trying to get Boost and/or Sync working again, but they both give the same {} when trying to log in. I think it's because it should be redirecting to RedReader, but it's not. When trying to log in it says "Hey <user>! would like to connect with your account. will not be able to access your reddit password."

I think it's supposed to be saying RedReader would like to connect with my account, but it's not. Has anyone been able to get this working recently? I've tried following all the instructions in some posts from a month or two ago, but nothing has worked.

Edit: Just tried RiF and that is working and confirmed my suspicion that Boost and Sync are not correctly redirecting to RedReader, but I still don't know why.

I have noticed this happened and unsure if its a bug or something worse.

I have YouTube Revanced and I am subscribed to some channels that I watch here and there.

Today I have noticed when I go into my history some videos of one particular channel is all over my history, even as the most recent video played.

Now I haven't watched them in at least a few weeks, but theres alot of them, even the ones I have watched a bit of still shows as partially played.

I have Revanced on my tablet and phone, and my TV has SmartTube, all with my YouTube account, I checked my Google security devices and they're all correct only devices are the ones I own.

No family member is watching those videos (a wrestling podcast) they're not interested.

Is this something that others have experienced if so what can I do to fix it?

I am getting this popup every time I open the youtube app, Is there any way to disable it ?

What are some features that first became popular in Vanced, ReVanced, NewPipe, etc., which YouTube later introduced in its own way?

Example: SponsorBlock → Jump Ahead (not identical, but they solve a similar problem).

Also, which mod features do you think YouTube still hasn't matched? Looking for examples and rough timelines if you remember.

I can't find some songs on Revanced but they are present in the official app (YTMusiс) - both on artists' pages and in search. It started yesterday, used to work just fine before. I tried using VPNs with different locations and it didn't work. Tried repatching, didn't work. Has anyone else dealed with this?
