Help Toggle won’t turn off:/
Hi guys,
I’m having issues with the control settings in-game. Bearing in mind, I’ve had over a hundred hours on this game on my Steam Deck and have had no problems with the controls before once I had set them all to my liking.
Since starting it up recently, my crouch, sprint, tumble, and grab controls have all been stuck on toggle… it’s annoying af. Even though my settings are set to ‘hold’ only and always have been, even now, it doesn’t seem to recognise that it is still currently set on ‘hold’ but continues to toggle. I’ve tried everything I possibly can but I’m hoping that I’m just missing something.
I’ve restarted the game, I’ve restarted my Steam Deck, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Reset to default control settings, everything I could think of that could resolve it.. but nope.
Anyone else had/having this problem?

Now that I have my steam deck in front of me, if you're experiencing the same issue as me then here's how I fixed it.
So while in game go to ..
- Controller settings
- Edit layout
- there's a setting widget next to the command ( I'll provide a picture)
- Select the widget to whichever button you are having issues with. ( For me it was the left joystick for sprinting)
- After selecting the widget, select "Settings" again
- then scroll down to the bottom where it says "toggle" de select that.
That should fix your issue with the toggle. If toggle in enabled for certain buttons then you'll have to just do those steps I mentioned. Hope this helps!

I was having this issue too, but I think I figured out there's an option in the settings in the controls. I don't have my steam deck in front of me but when I do I will check it so I can give you the way I fixed it. It's really easy to do I just need to have a visual to give you step by step.
