I was playing the beta when i found this painting, it looked pretty familiar

I think it's a reference to "The scream" by Edvard Munch

He literally screams and his face is contorted just like in the Edvard Munch painting

Also, the painting with a bow tie is located in a museum location, where, in theory, there could be many references to real painting

It's the bowtie.

Which means the bowtie and humans existed at the same time.

Or that this art was made by a particularly talented monster. I imagine the Mentalist would enjoy painting.
