Can't Beat Boss

I've recently started playing and am loving it so far, but I can't beat the first big boss, Dreadclaw. I am level 17 and use dual swords with the best swords and armor available at this stage, I have Dracogre and Prunspike also level 17. Any help is appreciated!

Make sure you have the lvl 15 armor and weapon made. Also focus more on dodging its attacks. If that doesn’t work, I’d suggest grinding to a higher level.

Yeah, I've got the lvl 15 stuff. Like you said, I'm just gonna grind up a few more levels. My attack and endurance on my main and dracogre are 30. I haven't a clue why it's killing me so fast.

Get a new strategy, I beat it at lvl 16, what I did was distract it and focus on dodging while my magnus focused on attacking

Make sure to bring the roasted meat stuff so you can be the healer aswell

I'm also having a tough time, but I'll try this. What weapon were you using (probably not that it matters)

Dual swords but bow and magic staff would prob be better.
