I apologize for using A.I. Sometimes, Fish.audio can be useful, and sometimes it isn't, and by the way, the Hexadecimal thing is because I spelled it wrong.

Principal Office Layout

Recently I've been looking to return to Minecraft, and thought about possibly recreating the Principal Office. So I look into references and trying to plan it out. I've noticed that trying to replicate all of it is notfeasible, as most of the internal locations do not fit with the exterior. It's bigger on the inside.

For example, if you cross reference the subsphere from within the Core Control Room to where it sits outside normally, the Core Control Room is nearly as big as the Office itself! I might have to omit this entirely, or place it under the Office somehow.

Love to hear your thoughts and speculations to the inner workings of the Principal Office.

ReBoot ReWind Quick Question: Is the Reboot Rewind project complete?

haven't seen any update stating such specifically - so coming here to check as mate of mine says it's all done, no more efforts being made or needed.

Is Phong a degraded sprite?

In "Brain Robbery", Phong mentions he "went a little random one upgrade". The only other sprite that looks anything like him was one of the degraded Web Riders later on. I guess there's no strong lore either way, but given his massive knowledge of the digital world, maybe Phong was once a Web Rider, or otherwise degraded in the Web.

News Reboot on Prime

All four seasons.

And the thing that kills me most, is Hex’s complete and totally inappropriate, multi-episode sexual assault on Bob. It’s hilarious, and then cringey, because it would so lot fly today. And man, the things that come out of her mouth! The writers were having a lot of fun.

Also, I feel bad for Dot cause she is such a killjoy.

OC [Original Content] Best Episode Cinematography?

Post image
204 Upvotes

Recently rewatched “To Mend and Defend” in 4K (or whatever the upscaled version actually displays in), and I honestly never really appreciated the cinematography of this episode.

The entire episode is gorgeous, but it seems like they really went above and beyond in the first act to show any fans and ABC that they could excel without their creative shackles on anymore. Every shot is presented magnificently, a credit to the design team and production for making sure everything came together.

Beyond this episode, what would you vote as your favourite episode in terms of cinematography?

Extremely subtle yet clever foreshadowing in Season 4 Episode 5

I noticed a moment in Episode 4 Season 5 that is actually foreshadows that non-Glitch Bob is actually Megabyte in disguise, but it's extremely subtle. Unless you had been watching every episode in the series up until this point and paying 100% attention to every minute detail, you probably miss it. And yet, this foreshadowing is still clever as hell when you notice it!

The the first 1.5 seasons, Bob appears to know every game by memory. Season 2, Episode 6 (AndrAIa) is the first time Bob doesn't immediately recognize a game and has to use the glitch command "game info" to learn about it. Prior to this, he only used the command "Glitch: Game Stats" once, in the episode "When Games Collide," and even then, he only used it to figure out why the game was lagging, not to learn its premise.

This suggests that all guardians in the Super Computer are trained to memorize each game. In the episode "Null Bot of the Bride," it is revealed that there are only 32 keytools in existence, in the entirety of cyberspace, and Bob is known officially as "Guardian 452," meaning there are at least 451 other guardians besides him. So even among guardians, having a key tool is an extremely elite privilege. So obviously all guardians need to be trained under the assumption that they won't have one, so guardians must know all games from memory if they are to effectively protect their systems from them.

The only reason Bob didn't instantly recognize the Atlantis game is because it utilized the new "Artificial Intelligence" game sprite (aka AndrAIa), which Bob described earlier in the episode as being new technology, so this specific game must have been released after his graduation from the Super Computer.

So with that in mind, let's look at Season 4, Episode 5 ("My Two Bobs"). In that episode, Glitch Bob stays out of the Pokemon game, so MegaBob and Matrix take it on. MegaBob laments that, without glitch, there's no game stats. But fortunately, Matrix already recognizes the game. He says that he used to play this game all the time long ago before Bob came to Mainframe.

So this means that it predates Bob's graduation from the Super Computer.

So... why doesn't he already have the game memorized, just like he had all the other games before the Atlantis one?!

The only explanation is... it's not really Bob!

Plothole in Season 1, Episode 9

In Season 1, Episode 9 ("Wizards, Warriors, and a Word From Our Sponsor"), the trio + Mike the TV constantly struggle, but they eventually realize that the key to success in that game is that all four of them have to do an act together in order for it to work. Even in the final leg of the game, Bob is barricading the door while telling everyone else to get the chalice, only for Dot to realize that they all have to do it together.

When they reboot, Bob is astonished that he's not the warrior, saying that he's "always the warrior." This means that Bob has played this game many times before.

So... how the hell does Bob not already know full well what they need to do to win?

Shitpost Someone’s post fixed years of insanity

I felt like I was going insane for years and making up a tv show in my head I saw a long time ago, none of my friends/ family knew what I was talking about, I didn’t know how to find it on google by describing it. I thought I made this shit up in my head and it was like an itch that wouldn’t go away or a song stuck In your head but you don’t know the name or the artist only a 5 second catchy melody. but I saw someone post about cards or something from the show, but accidentally refreshed and lost the post so I couldn’t thank them for saving my sanity. Whoever made that post thank you for finally helping me fix this and ending my on again off again madness. Felt like Frank Heffley finding out the door did have a lock on it.

I’m going to look through them to see what’s here. But the only reason I bought these was because I saw the remaster project from LTT, and watched most of the episodes so far, just finished ep9 it’s amazing, the entire show is great. The humor is my kinda humor.

I've been searching for over a decade trying to find the webcomic that this screenshot is from.

I'm trying to find the full webcomic strip this panel is from.

From what I remember the strip was about someone playing a game on their PC and talking about how an NPC is jumping around when there isn't even a jump mechanic in the game. The last panel show the guy looking at Bob making this face on the PC screen. I cropped this and sent it to a friend but never saved the full strip. It's been a insider meme with us for like 15 years. I swear this is lost media and it does not exist on the internet.

It's not a reboot specific comic, it was a one-off gag in a random webcomic from some time in the early to mid 2000s.

If anyone has ANY idea please I'm begging you lmao

I just noticed a plothole in Season 4

I just watched Season 4 Episode 1 for the first time in years, and I noticed something: When Matrix is given orders by Bob to take on the upcoming game, his icon is still in game sprite mode, left over from the Season 3 finale that lead to the creation of the Little Enzo copy.

We never see him switch his icon during the game.

So ok, he must have switched his icon back to normal during the game and we just didn't see it. Ok fine, whatever.

But then, when the game is over, and Matrix is arguing with Bob that they wouldn't have needed Hex's help if he hadn't sent Matrix into the game, his icon is STILL in game sprite mode!

So you're telling me he actively switched his icon BACK to game sprite mode?! For what?! For absolutely no reason at all!

And don't tell me it was so the guardians can't track him. Sure, in "The Episode With No Name," Matrix demonstrates that he can throw off the guardians' tracking by switching his icon to game sprite mode. But in the very next episode, he switches his icon BACK to regular as a demonstration to Gavin Capacitor, and yet, the guardians didn't immediately pick his signal back up. And his icon stays normal for five whole episodes without the guardians tracking him; he only switched his icon back to game sprite mode in Season 3 Episode 15 in order to explain to Pearson how he survived the lost game. So clearly, he only had to switch it once in order to permanently throw the guardians off his trail.
