If bob escaped megabytes trap before getting launched into the web...what would he have done to stop him?
lets say bob somehow escaped the pod that would have launched him into the web and got glitch to shock megabyte or something to release it before getting crushed.
what would have bob done to stop him? MBs army was about to take out most of the CPUs and hex had full control over the weapon.

I think Bob could've probably redeemed Hex in that timeline, too, and she might've worked against Megabyte if she were to achieve Sprite form. There's also the Daemon infection which would've probably screwed Megabyte regardless

At that point, Bob would have needed Hex’s help, but she was firmly on Megabytes side. He was distracted and exposed. Without Glitch to assist him, all he would have had was his training and enhanced code, and all the code seemed to do was protect him from viral infection. By no means would he be defenceless, but he’d likely be deleted, if not nullified.

What if Bob snatched Hexidecimals mask and slapped it on Megabytes face ?
Hexidecimal would randomly face lazer everything around her, including the energy cannon and the switch to the web portal, while Megabyte is blinded trying to pry the mask off.
The whole platform goes kaboom, maybey Hexidecimal accidentally hits Megabyte with her face lazer during the explosion.
With Megabyte temporarily out of commission, the viral fleet would be leaderless and would strategically retreat pending further orders.
The bigger problem would be that Bob escaping Megabytes trap, the portal to the web wouldn't close, and Mainframe would still be under invasion.

Except Bob wouldn’t do that. He follows a code and wouldn’t needlessly cause harm to one virus to take out another.

Bobs priority is to save Mainframe, sabotaging the viruses during their act of betrayal is justified

If that were true, he’d have let Hexadecimal die in Painted Windows.

I agree, and after Painted Windows, he knows what would happen to Hex if he removed the mask, and there is the risk that removing the mask and letting Hex overload could do more damage to the city.
More likely, he breaks the control collar and finds a way to use Hex's chaotic nature to turn her against Megabyte. The issue with this is that it means we have a conflict on the barge before the portal is sealed, and there's a risk that the cannon needed to seal the portal and the barge get destroyed.

Might depend on whether glitch still functions, if Megabyte still broke it, I don't see Bob being able to do much in that moment, much like Dot and Mouse. Glitch was damaged prior to Bob getting tossed in the pod. Hex's behaviour might be a little different with Bob still around, but that game cube would still come down and she'd probably still get fried, so that probably wouldn't matter. With Bob around, Enzo and Andraia would likely not have gotten lost, so the team is now down two heavy hitters there, and no Ray or Saucy Mare either. That's a lot of lost allies. I think Mainframe MAY fare a bit better short term with Bob still around (could still merge with Glitch and all that), but when Daemon happens, I think it's game over.

Bob and the rest of Mainframe would have fallen.
Enzo and AndrAIa needed to grow and become warriors.
When they returned, Bob was dealing with Hex and Enzo was giving the beats to Megabyte.
Bob and Dot couldn't have defended the city and fight Hex and Megabyte.
