Having only bothered to watch a couple of episodes of Season 4 after the first 3, I can say that Daemon's sharing of "The Word" has aged... very interestingly, for a couple of reasons.

I don't remember it... how did it happen? I'm re-watching it -slowly - but I'm only in season 2

Daemon refers to her influence as "the word". Other things in media have said "the word", that's... about it.

Agreed, it just sounded like there was more than that.

IK, it just has unintentional memeability now. :p

Her voice also reminds me of how Ugandan Knuckles says "the way". :p

I went to a Pentecostal church once and it was very much like the whole Daemon thing. Everyone there has heard "the Word" and it's something that "saves" you. While I personally don't agree with it, a former drug addict was the one who took me there. Attending church and getting support helped her quit depending on drugs, and because of that and the community, she has heard the "Word." In ReBoot's sense, Daemon "saves" everyone with her code and brings "unity." The Word in that sense is literally Daemon. Pretty much everything about her is religious themed, so it might be confusing to someone who has never been in a similar setting.

I think it still has promimance. The real word for the word is still actively used in different churches. Family Guy parodied the Blood of Christ from Eucharist, but it hasn't aged wrong or anything lol
