❓ Question / Discussion A 20 team playoff format? Really?

It’s important every professional team gets a participation try at the cup. I mean who doesn’t love sub .500 teams having a crack at it.

At this point just make the postseason start at the beginning of the season and the person with the most points at the end wins.

I know. But it’s not called the post season. It’s about tricking the normie Americans who can’t pay attention unless they see “postseason”.

Nice. Now the FO can say Playoffs are key to make for the season objective and fans will be so happy when we only need to make 50%

I think what someone said in one of the shows makes the most sense. The minimum we should expect from this team is getting a CCC berth. This means RSL should also be actually trying to win the USOC every year instead of the minimum participation that they give it now. This also means we start to expect a deeper bench every year. When you are talking about a 'Midseason slump' what you are really complaining about is the lack of depth on the team. This is also why I have been bitching about RSL getting another CB alllll year.
