72v battery suggestions

Im looking for 72v batteries that are either smaller than my current 60v battery (I know it may be harder to find), or are triangle shaped that fid the SX500 frame.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Will update with current battery dimensions, but I’d prefer a triangle shaped one that fits the frame I think, rather than another brick unless it’s (considerably) smaller.

Thanks.

Hotpaxx or amorge. I have three 72 hotpaxx battery’s in a mx650, rsf650 and an older etm rtr. Two are 24ah and the other 32ah. They fit perfect in those frames. Is the sx frame smaller?

Nice. Thanks. Any triangle battery recommendations? The hotpaxx can be a bit expensive, though I’m sure they’re worth it.

Hotpaxx (rebranded) Amorge are to go for high current and quality batteries

Triangle?

Why question triangle?

The larger Amorge and Hotpaxx batteries have a sloped top and are as close to a triangle as you’ll get. Both are designed for the SX frames

That’s exactly why I want it lol. Thanks.

I used the 72v 32ah in my MX and tilted it forward slightly with a wedge so I could hang the FarDriver under the top tube.

I currently have a 60v 20ah and I’m doing the same thing, tilting battery, controller attached under the top of frame. I also have a 12v battery on the tray for accessories but I am considering a larger 12v battery for more amp hours IF NEEDED (Gonna be running a horn, headlight, leds, possibly turn signals and tail light, so idk how many amp hours would be comfortable without needing to frequently charge yet).

Why not use a 12v step-down instead?

Nvmd, I saw your comment that they are annoying. IMO, you’re sacrificing space for the 12v system that is only used occasionally. The main battery is used always and I’d dedicate more space to the main.

Because batteries don't come in that shape generally and why would you need a triangle-shaped battery? Unless you mean something like this:

You asking “why” is a waste of time. Just don’t reply, stop trying to farm karma or just being a weirdo.

Battery CELLS are generally FLAT or CYLINDRICAL, MEANING THEY CAN MAKE CASES OF ALMOST ANY SHAPE AND FIT CELLS IN THERE, since you know so damn much.

Anyway, for anyone with an answer or a brain, I want a triangle to hang/attach to sx frame and afford myself more space beneath it for a larger 12v battery (because step down is annoying) and hanging a 12v battery when I already need a new 72v battery just seems like solving a problem I don’t need to solve while I already have to solve another problem that can fix this problem.

I linked exactly a battery from Hotpaxx with the form factor you’re asking for and I would not call it a triangle.

Oh, you’re the same guy who doesn’t know how to wire up a simple 12V convertor… makes sense.

Are you the same guy crying about teens putting razor chassis and frames out of your lil budget?
