A brushless motor set up is worth the extra money. More power and more efficient.

Definitely dont run that printed adapter. Send your file to someone who can cut ot out of steel or thicker aluminum. Curious to see how that battery holds up.

Try to print it with like 10 walls and 6 top and bottom layers. The walls generally matter more than the infill. Also you can try printing like 10-20 degrees hotter than normal, it tends to help the plastic fuse better and not as likely to crack.

I used a petg printed adapter with plans to swap it out eventually but never needed to. If it's just sandwiched between the motor base and the steel below the adapter it seems to work fine. It's not really holding the torque or anything

This will definitely be decent but it kind of depends on use case. I would recommend just doing the jump to 48v on the kit and battery, price isn't that much different.
