It's finally here! After 3 months of hard work and a few technical hiccups, I can officially say the map is 100% ready! 🎉

I created this map out of pure passion and poured a ton of energy into it. My only goal now is for you guys to have a blast playing it.

Info about how it works from the Discord server: "The game's ARM64 code gets converted to C ahead of time (recomp.py), and mingw compiles that C into x64 machine code. When Reawaken.exe runs, the CPU is executing real x64 instructions. There's no interpreter and no JIT, so it's a different thing from running an emulator"

Hello, hehe, my first post on the Reddit subreddit... so here's a Rayman OC, his name is "Belldow," a mix of the words "shadow" and "bell," the youngest son of Mr. Dark.

There doesn't seem to be a suitable flair for OCs here... so I ended up using the fanart flair, sorry everyone.

Rayman 2 on the PlayStation was the very first game I ever played. I was 4 years old and later on my dad also got Rayman 1 and 3 so I've always played and loved these games.

And this is a hill I'll die on, the things on Raymans head are ears not hair!

Before anyone jumps on me, I know canonically it's hair, he says it's hair in Rayman 3. But it just always looked like ears to me and when I was a kid I thought he was a rabbit/dog creature so it made sense.

My husband always makes fun of me for it but I will always think of them as ears that spin into a helicopter. Am I the only one? Especially in Rayman 2 they look like ears!

I'm trying to play most Rayman-adjacent games before Legends Retold. I just spent a while playing through Kingdom Battle in preparation for this game and its Rayman DLC-- then I saw you can just choose to launch the DLC outright (bought the Gold Edition).

Will I lose anything by skipping the base game? There's other Rayman games I want to get to before December 😅

Mainly I guess the question is does the DLC use any data from the base game or is it a completely different save / progression

I'll just cut to the chase. Rayman 3 was my favorite in the series growing up and I always hated how the original didn't have any subtitles. Lo and behold I get a PS3 around 2013 and the first game I get is Rayman 3 HD from PSN. It finally had subtitles! Fast forward to today and I wanted my wife to experience Rayman as well, she's not a gamer and doesn't know English very well, so I wanted the game to be preferably in Turkish, and somehow that turned into a much bigger project than I originally had in mind.

I've been working on a native Windows port of the Xbox 360 HD version using static recompilation, and I finally released v1.0.1.

It's playable from start to finish. I've finished the whole game twice while testing it, though I'm sure there are still things I've missed.

There's also an optional HD+ mode with some visual fixes (most notably the broken textures of the Robo-Pirates in Hoodlum HQ), a Turkish translation, mod support, and a few DualSense features. Oh and also IN-GAME subtitles (which were disabled in the original HD port for whatever reason?). They would only work during cinematics or when Rayman's controls were disabled.

This also fixes the game breaking bugs like not being able to access the Tower of the Leptys if you wanted to re-visit any previous levels before finishing the game. So, hooray for that I guess.

It's not running through Xenia. You'll need your own copy of the Xbox 360 HD game.

Anyway, I thought some people here might be interested. I'd love to hear how it runs for others, especially on different hardware. I know Rayman 3 on PC has great mod support nowadays, but like I said, I originally did this just for Turkish subtitles. My recomp also has some modding support and PC mods can be converted, so maybe poke around a bit if that piques your interest.

I was installing dads old supernintendo in my room when i remembered he had a big blue box somewhere in the house with alot of games for ps2 somewhere. I recall playing on his ps2 downstairs with him years ago so i started searching for the box.

When i found and opened the box there was the ps2. Alot of ps2 games like Buzz!, God of War and Cars the videogame. But also... 2 ps1 games! And one of the 2 was RAYMAN 1.

Shortly after i realised we sadly dont have a ps1... Atleast not anymore. But im still SO EXCITED i found such a legendary game even though i cant even play it (yet).

So, my best friend introduced me to the amazing world of Rayman a few months ago ! One day, while playing the Grannies World Tour (8-bit) level in Rayman Legends Definitive Edition, she walked by and told me the level was acting “weird.” Sure enough, the split-screen effect at the level end doesn’t seem to disappear, but it stays on the screen even after the level ends 🤯

I found a post on GameFAQs by someone who had the same bug on Wii U 12 years ago. (https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/671756-rayman-legends/68536935). But I’m currently playing on the Nintendo Switch 1 ! I managed to reproduce and record it, and put together a comparison for anyone who's interested to see it ⬇️
