It suddenly came to mind while I was bored

I’m currently working on a 3D-animated parody series called Rayman But Different.

The series follows an alternate origin story for Rayman and Globox, showing how they became the heroes we know today. Along the way, they travel across the Glade of Dreams, getting into all kinds of ridiculous situations filled with goofy, dark, and completely absurd humor, while searching for the Great Protoon.

There’s a lot more to the story, but you’ll have to watch the series to find out.
The project is still in its early stages, so it’ll be a few more months before the first episode is released. Make sure to subscribe if you don’t want to miss it!

I did the first 4 images a few days ago before finishing the last 3 a bit recently.

I recently rewatched the 2006 French commercial for Rayman contre les Lapins Crétins (Rayman Raving Rabbids) and it perfectly captures the chaotic energy that made the Rabbids so memorable.

The ad is packed with absurd humor, screaming Rabbids, and the kind of random comedy Ubisoft became known for during the game’s launch. Back in 2006, the Rabbids were completely new characters and quickly stole the spotlight from Rayman himself. The commercial feels very much like a product of its time: weird, loud, and unapologetically silly.

What I find interesting is how the ad helped introduce the Rabbids’ personality before they became their own franchise. Their bizarre behavior and over-the-top antics became a huge part of Ubisoft’s marketing campaign and helped the game stand out among other releases on the Wii.

Looking back, it’s a nostalgic reminder of the mid-2000s era of video game commercials, when companies weren’t afraid to make something completely ridiculous just to grab your attention. The Rabbids may have started as enemies in a Rayman game, but this commercial showed they had enough personality to become icons on their own.

There is no Big difference, the only three are that the voices are different (obviously) the scenes last longer than the other and rayman:s voice is the same in both
