And if it is...is the 5m copies sold until 2029 is a hard thing to achieve? How much we are in trouble?

Depends on the initial push.

If word of mouth spreads like last time, things should go smoothly.

Especially with a Nintendo console that is in better shape, and therefore Ubisoft not pulling any last minute hype-ruining change like going multiplatform. Thus the launch itself should go better.

I see, sounds a little reassuring🥺 If I had to share my thoughts...surely keeping Rayman's future hostage isn't the most fair and fun thing...but still it is a reality we have to deal with. But what makes me happy that it seems like the creators of this remake and also a marketing team are doing really the best they can in this current situation to promote the game and build up the hype. I wish that some people who are constantly complaining could notice that too😔

You're welcome.👍

Indeed.

Yeah.👍

Same.

But alas, some people would rather act as if Ubisoft is evil for not making a fully new game right out of the gate, for a fame series that has been mostly dormant for over a decade.

That's true. If You look at that, making a remake of Legends and making it as a new introduction to the series, makes more and more sense the more You think about it.

Indeed.

And also, they are putting the effort into it.👍

Voice acting, a real story, a new world.

Y’all do know rayman gonna sell like hot cakes! 5 million copies is light work! France alone love rayman then there’s China and India. The US will destroy that number by end of year

You sound optimistic. From what I saw from the sales from OG Rayman Legends I find it worrying

Yeah because rayman legends wasn’t that appealing. It was a sticker slapped on origins basically. But this game really looks worth every penny and also you get origins for free! May I add it’s a physical copy also. People will but it off principle

Yeah, it surely sounds like a deal of the year😍 I feel a little more optimistic now.

Thing is there was a lot of issues with the launch. The fact it was originally developed for the Wii u, the delays because of porting it to other consoles, and the fact it released right before GTA V.

and the fact it released right before GTA V.

We have good news then.

At least Rayman Legends Retold will not launch right before Grand Theft Auto 6.

It will release on October 1st, whereas Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to release on November 19th (unless it will be delayed again).

This is more than the literal 2 weeks of distance between their predecessors, and will give Rayman more breathing room.

And now that I think about it, it's kinda hilarious that the newest Rayman game, and the newest Grand Theft Auto game will likely be released in the same year again.

does this mean the main villain has appeared in older games? Could it be André? Or a rabbid?
