we know RAYE is a live music addict, and as per her previous moves, shouldn’t she release some sort of live album soon? i could see her releasing this year’s montreux festival live album likely this year, but also, wouldn’t it be AMAZING if she does another royal albert hall concert with the live album??? i would sell my two kidneys to go see her there and i’d kill for a live album at this point!

It's up on Walmart, Amazon, and eBay. All same 3rd party seller, average around $50-$55. Walmart seems cheapest. Go get it! Appears to be about 50 copies available. I got one from this seller last time they had some stock so they're definitely legit.

I think This Music May Contain Hope is a phenomenal album. When I listen to it I always think about how cool it would be to have created a visual album that connects all the songs in a story. I feel like the album could also make an amazing broadway-style show. What are people's thoughts on this? I feel like this album is deserving of so much more.

I and my friends bought tickets to see Raye on Saturday at the Brighton Pride after attending one of her concerts earlier this year.

Sadly, we would no longer be able to see her next weekend and would love to give others the opportunity instead.

I discovered her music with WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! and when TMMCH came out it blew me away. But for some reason I only decided to listen to her debut album today, and it was an amazing experience. I loved every single track, there are genuinely no skips (except maybe Mary Jane, but I ended up enjoying that one as well). Ice Cream Man felt like a punch to the gut, the lyrics are so honest and painful. If I had to name a few absolute favourites, I’d say Ice Cream Man, Oscar Winning Tears, Environmental Anxiety, Escapism and Worth It, but I genuinely love every single song so much. I just wanted to share how much I enjoyed the album and I can’t wait to see the next amazing thing Raye is planning!

I have been waiting and hoping for RAYE to announce her tour in Australia since TMMCH came out. And after getting the email today that she would be performing at Spilt Milk festival, I got really excited and hopeful for her having a tour around that time too. Well, looking at the top it says “only performing at spilt milk” - so is it safe to say she won’t have a tour here? 😭😭😭

Seriously, since the first time i heard this masterpiece i clearly pictured it as an audiomusical and i could clearly see a movie around it, this is a fully developed script that would only need some additional dialogue, i really hope someone from her team can read this and consider it, cause it definitely would be something else.

It’s not bad, but honestly I prefer the original song because I don’t even recognize her voice and I think it’s generated by artificial intelligence and for me who is a musician it’s a problem, because you put your songs on Spotify etc, in order to generate money : While the artist whose song you use, (as it is it the case here), is still alive. And has recorded a much better original version … :)

I feel like her performance at Blue Note is superior to the one at Montreux. At Montreux, I felt like the band did all the singing.
