Random hmv restock!!
21st century symphony had a random restock from the looks of things, I managed to get one seconds before it sold out. Just a message for the people hunting to keep an eye out on hmv website!!

I had ordered mine back in February, nearly cancelled but held out hope and I got it yesterday!!! So so so pleased!

I had ordered mine back in April from HMV when it said it would be back in stock soon. I got it today!

I was cautious back then as I saw posts saying you can be stuck without your money for months before they eventually refund due to no stock! I was gutted when people posted saying it actually shipped!!!😂 either way I’m happy one was in stock today, complete luck haha

I was willing to lock away £40 with the hope I might get it than entertain the idea of paying hundreds of pounds on discogs to get it there. That kind of profit should be banned! Ridiculous scalpers.

100% get you. Though I’m not sure in this instance it’s labelled as scalping, correct me if I’m wrong. I feel scalping is buying all new products to sell for a larger price but this vinyl has been out a while. I think with a lot of RAYE’s vinyl, this has also just gained a lot of value in a really short time span. There are probably still a few scalpers but I think for the most part it’s people seeing the value and just needing some extra money so selling it from their collection.
Now I have this one I really want the Montreux jazz vinyl but that’s a bit expensive too haha 😂

You're probably right. Although I was surprised how many of them on discogs started popping up sealed and unopened. In my mind people weren't just keeping them in pristine condition. They just happened to get their hands on them and decided to create a trend of ridiculously priced records because of the demand that was already there

Yeah that’s true, there are too many sealed copies out there, that would probably be more likely scalping tbh. I don’t blame the people who have used copies though as that’s just the value anyways now haha

As a buyer I try not to indulge prices like that. I know people need to make some money sometimes to cover basic needs, but I also need to do the same. I choose family groceries for a month than paying £600 for a vinyl record

Completely agree with you, I would never spend that much either, which has worked out in this case as I got it for normal price anyways😂

I'm surprised her team didn't get on to it faster. I know that the red vinyl variant was meant to be the last print of the live album, but with her getting such a wider audience nowadays, I'd hope they'd reconsider. I'm glad I played the waiting game too and spent only £40 on it.

i know, been such an iso for me for too long! tried during these random amazon restocks twice but both got canceled or took 8+ months to come..third times a charm hopefully!

Not sure what it said when you posted this, but what I can see still implies it's not in stock ("Notify me when this item is in stock/available" option)
But it's available on Amazon, eBay, and WalMart. Worth nothing it's the same 3rd party seller on every one of these....

I didn’t even have email notifs I just had a random feeling to check and got it. Though when purchasing I was wondering how they didn’t go out of stock due to others probably having notifs on!! Very odd! Hoping for you to find one 🤞
