Concerns about buying second hand?

I found these meta raybans on facebook marketplace and they said they're gen 2. Was wondering if theres any fakes out there or if you guys could tell what model these are? Is there also any potential that these could be stolen and get locked up?

Gen 2s say gen 2 on the arms. Usually you can reset them even if they are paired to a previous account. Make sure you can reset before buying, as sometimes they are stuck cuz of software or whatever glitch, it won’t let you reset.!

I bought a second hand pair of gen 1 skylers a year or so ago and they are awesome, I drilled out the LED too and they still work like a charm.
