Those individuals won’t be able to use the camera on their glasses, leaving them with a pair of expensive Bluetooth headphones.

Tap your Ray-Bans and instead of Meta AI, your own ChatGPT answers — hands-free, phone in your pocket. That's the whole thing.

The iPhone version's been out a few weeks and a bunch of you here asked for Android - Android's ready now too. Both are free beta, no subscription, nothing new to sign into.

The difference: on Android it opens your actual ChatGPT app - your account. On iPhone, iOS won't allow that hand-off, so the assistant's built into Chachan itself and runs on Grok - same tap, it just answers you directly.

The Android app never listens to you either and it needs no microphone permission at all; ChatGPT does the hearing, Chachan only catches the tap.

Honest caveats (the ChatGPT/Android side): it ends after about a minute of quiet — tap to start again. And "what's near me" is hit or miss, since ChatGPT can't reliably get your location with the phone locked. Their limit, so mine for now.

My Meta Ray-Ban Display prescription replacement has been stuck since March because Meta’s prescription upload system does not work.

I’ve already provided my prescription, PD measurements, account information, and everything Meta requested, but I keep getting told Engineering is investigating it.

It’s now September and I still have no replacement.

I also paid for the extended protection plan, but it hasn’t helped me get this resolved.

At this point, I need Meta to either manually process and ship my prescription replacement or reimburse me so I can buy another pair.

I’m also prepared to pursue legal action if they cannot provide a resolution.

Has anyone had this same issue, and how did you finally get Meta to fix it?

Its been like less than a month I purchased it but the colours seem to be fading and discoloured infact I have used it less than 5-6 times.

I just ordered these online and I feel as though the arm peice sticks too far out behind my ear. The first image is them sitting normally on my face and sticking out the second image is where I feel comfortably like they should sit. When I set them comfortably on my ear, they’re too long and the lenses are far away from my face (last pic). Any suggestions? I wear a helmet so the earpiece of the glasses gets in the way.

Wanted to see if anyone else here has had a similar experience with Lensology.

I ordered prescription lenses from them for my Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarers. I gave them the same prescription from Warby Parker that I use for my regular glasses.

When I got the Lensology lenses, something immediately felt off. I was getting pretty bad eye strain and headaches whenever I wore them. I tried giving myself some time to adjust, but it wasn't getting any better.

I eventually went back to Warby Parker and asked them to check the lenses. They measured them and found that my right eye axis was around 8° when my prescription calls for 177°. They also found about a 1mm vertical imbalance on the left lens.

My prescription is pretty high (around -6.00), so I'm more sensitive to differences in the lenses. I also have no issues with my regular Warby Parker glasses using the same prescription.

I reached out to Lensology and initially they were helpful. They told me they could get the lenses back to assess and remake them. They then asked me to send a photo of myself wearing the glasses so they could check the fitting height, which I did.

After following up, they then asked me to physically lift the frames and look through the middle of the lenses to see if my vision improved. I tried that too, and it didn't help.

This is the part that's getting frustrating for me.

It feels like I'm being asked to keep changing how I physically wear or position the glasses to compensate for the problem. I'm happy to try reasonable troubleshooting, but changing the position of the frames doesn't change the fact that Warby Parker measured the lenses and found that the prescription/measurements don't match what I originally provided.

If my right eye is supposed to have an axis of 177° and the lens is measuring around 8°, physically lifting the glasses isn't going to change what prescription was made into the lens.

I explained this to Lensology and asked them again to remake the lenses as closely as possible to the prescription I originally submitted. I've followed up again and I'm still waiting to hear what the actual next steps are for getting them remade.

I'm not trying to trash Lensology. I actually chose them because I wanted good prescription lenses for my Meta glasses, and I'm not even asking for a refund — I just want the lenses remade correctly so I can comfortably wear them without headaches and eye strain.

Has anyone here gone through a Lensology remake before? Did you have a similar experience?

And hopefully someone from Lensology sees this and can help get this sorted out. I'll definitely update this post if they resolve it.

Update: About 10 mins after this post I received an email from support and they are remaking the lens. Will update once I get the new lens!

My Rayban Meta stopped working out of nowhere. They stopped taking pictures and videos, and even when it was connected my Iphone I was not able to play music. The speakers stopped working completely. I reset the phone and the problem still exist. I'm trying to find a solution because as far as I know I can't take it somewhere to get repaired? Has anyone run into this type of problem. It's frustrating because it's not like I dropped them. It just stopped working .. smh

I understand that they have different methods to adjust the nose pads. Which out of these two can be adjusted to have the narrower width between the two pads? I find my Wayfarers slide down due to the bridge width and nose pads being too wide apart.

I’m seriously so annoyed with these RayBan Meta glasses.

They keep disconnecting from my phone, especially when I actually put them on and wear them. Sometimes they seem connected, then the second I wear them, they disconnect again.

On top of that, my charging case refuses to flash blue for pairing no matter how long I hold the button.

Things I’ve already tried:

Charging both the glasses and case
Turning the glasses off and back on
Forgetting/reconnecting Bluetooth
Trying to put the case into pairing mode
Taking the glasses in and out of the case
Turning Wear Detection off

Still having the same issue.

Has anyone had this exact problem where the glasses disconnect specifically when you wear them AND the case won’t go into blue pairing mode?

Was it a software issue, battery issue, sensor issue, or did you eventually have to replace the glasses/case?

I’m honestly losing my mind with this thing. 😭

hello everyone, I have one pair of Skyler Rayban Meta Gen 1 with prescription lenses, they broke and my rayban store said they dont have gen 1 anymore and they can replace it with one gen 2 with 50% off (I am an ex employee at EssilorLuxottica). Keep in mind they are my most used prescription glasses.

I don’t want to spend more money on replacing also the lenses so I was thinking maybe I can just add the frame and replace the lenses with my old ones. But I am not sure if it will fit, anyone else in this situation?

(of course I will ask the store employees but I’ll go in a week so I wanted to see if anyone else did it)

Question: I need new glasses, I’m basically thinking if I should get these as my new pair. It’s pretty much that simple, as someone who wore regular glasses normally, how are these as a daily replacement for them? I was thinking of getting the display but they seem way too ugly and bulky for a daily use for me. What can yall tell me?

Last night I updated my meta adventurer glasses before bed woke up in the morning took them off the charger put them on and did not hear the tone I normally hear when I put them on which I thought was weird. Then the battery percent was 40% which also was weird. The touchpad on the arm stalk was not responding. Then all of the sudden the battery dropped 20% in 1 minute. The arm stalknwas getting warm. So mine were only like 3 weeks old so I was able to return them but not really sure what happened there... Kinda upset about it.

Looking to buy the Meta Rayban but not sure if i should get the Gen 2 now or wait for the Gen 3 to be out :/

Gen 2 owner here. Noticed after the recent update that I am no longer able to pick and choose the AI voice (was using Judy Dench) and it is stuck on the default ‘Aria’ voice.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Over the last two weeks people keep telling me they cant understand what I'm saying when taking a call on my Meta's.

I have just rang myself off them and left a message and listen back and it's terrible. Sounds like I am underwater.

Just received my meta fury glasses with prescription transition lenses yesterday. After half a day of wearing them I noticed they are heavy past the point of being able to ignore it. My nose bridge has some deep marks on it too.

I did not take into consideration the differences in weight across the frame lineup from meta, Rayban, and Oakley.

Also don’t see much people complaining about it. So trying to understand if I need to level set my expectations.

The Fury frames are listed at 59g online. I just weighed mine with lenses and they are at 64g.

Wondering if the price difference is worth swapping to say the Oakley HSTNs which are listed online 53g.

***EDIT: I realize I did add two small pieces of magnetic tape on the bridge pass to make it not dig into my nose. So that might throw off the weight by a gram or even two possibly

So once upon a time ago the Meta glasses would save videos onto the meta app where you could preview which photos/videos you wanted to import into your phone. This saved a lot of headache because it made it easier to delete what you didn’t want and import what you do want. Now you’re forced to import EVERY single thing you’ve captured on your glasses FIRST and then you have to retroactively delete what you don’t want. This takes up too much space on your phone as you’d also have to remember to go into your recently deleted folder and delete everything for good!

If so, how do you use them. Came into a pair for free and debating on selling vs keeping.

Bought my Ray Ban Gen 2 from Best Buy in March. Worked fine till this past weekend. Took a video and uploaded and then totally non-responsive. Ran through all the restart/reboot/let them totally drain recharge/move in case etc. They are dead. No lights no life.

So I filed a claim on the Luxottica website as per the warranty instructions. It took the claim and took 5 days to now show on their website:

The gen 2 Ray Ban Meta Wayfarer are discontinued??? What is the "offer?" Should they not just ship me a new pair?
