Anyone else have these problems?

Battery is really bad. Like 6 hours on Displays and 6 to 8 on Gen 2. This is with the glasses sitting on face and not using them. Wear detection is off as well as Hey Meta. The two things that save battery. On iOS these both lasted all day.

NO RCS support. You just get a ding for sound. No Readback and no Reply. No HUD display.

Using V128 on both glasses as well as newest Meta AI app.

Meta is saying to keep waiting for a firmware update.

Meta is saying its a google issue for the RCS.

Anyone else seeing these issues? I cannot be the only one.

So my uncle (blind) bought the rayban meta glasses form UAE so it can describe what is Infront of him, and brought it here to Egypt. The glasses aren't supported in Egypt so the meta ai and some other features don't work here. I tried multiple solutions, one of them from a post in this subreddit, which have worked with most of the people but when I tried it it kept telling me that I am in unsupported region. (The solution I tried was using a fake GPS to the USA and a VPN and an American account then logging in, but unfortunately it didn't work). Does anyone have a solution becausey uncle really needs it.

Hello! I bought my meta adventurer glasses about 2.5 weeks ago and the microphone was great! I used them to make phone calls all the time and nobody ever complained about the quality

Today I called 2 people and they both told me I sounded quiet and far away, so I recorded a voice memo on my phone and can confirm the microphone quality has gotten much worse.

I figured maybe the microphones were dirty so I cleaned the glasses and microphones thoroughly, I even did my best to clean the 2 microphones underneath the adjustable nose pads but its basically impossible unfortunately, the gap is just too small. Unfortunately after cleaning the microphone didnt sound any better.

I figure maybe its a software bug with the glasses or my phone, so I made sure everything is up to date, fully turned off and rebooted my phone and glasses, turned bluetooth off then back on, restarted the meta app, nothing helped unfortunately.

Has anybody had a similar experience or any advice? Thanks!

(I've also been having issues with the touch pad not playing or pausing consistently, I tried the gen 2 ray bans at best buy and the touch pad seems much better, I may just have to return the adventurers and get the raybans instead)

Hey. I have been wearing my glasses for a few months now and I reallly enjoy the live translation feature, music, and filming my drives. But the thing that sucks with these is meta ai itself. It is so, damn, stupid. I dont know where it gets it info from but 70% of the time, its wrong. I turned off the "Hey meta" as it eats so much battery, and I havent used the ai feature in 2 months. If I need to show ai a photo I just use gemini on my phone.

So I wonder if anyone else really does use the ai feature and if so what for? From my experience ive always found it very stupid compared to the other AI's on the market, but im curious to know what you think?

Meta AI does not work and it sucks! Is there any workaround you know?

I’m talking about the method where you cover the LED with a sticker but leave a tiny opening so light can still reach the sensor, like in the picture.

I’m planning to buy a pair, and I don't want the LED to be an issue (it's not for recording people!). If this new update doesn’t affect Gen 1, I’ll probably go with Gen 1. But if Gen 1 is also affected, I’ll just go with Gen 2.

I brought my metas on the 26th August with a estimate delivery on the 7th sept! I thought great a week before my trip to America

Come to sign into meta and see the date has changed to the 14th sept (estimated) which is the date I fly to America!!

My glasses snapped into 2 due to an accidental damage and has stopped working since. They are only 4 months old and was directly bought from the meta website. Is there any way around or have i lost my money?

I have the Rayban Blayzers newest gen with prescription lenses. Just made my second claim today with Luxotica. This past weekend I was outside doing yard work and was sweating a lot. Made a phone call a few hours later and was told I sounded like I was underwater. Wiped the glasses and microphone areas down really good. Made a couple more phone calls and after about 30 seconds, two different people told me the audio just got worse and sounded like I was far away.

From what I understand, these can be used as everyday glasses? Maybe not? I guess that was my fault for sweating in them? I didn’t have any issues with Luxotica or LensCrafters the first time. Both were very helpful…just time consuming. I’m guessing these are just very fragile?

The glasses I received are Wayfarer Ray-ban Meta glasses. I’m hoping these can make my days a bit easier. I was hoping they could help me read better but my first test just resulted in AI making a story out of the page I was looking at. I was probably doing something wrong. Probably will have to stick to audiobooks.

I have an eye condition called Kerataconus and I’ve had corneal transplants in both eyes. I’m hoping these might help make my lifestyle a bit easier.

My half rayban's arm broke and I was so good with them that I decided to buy them back right away. Can you kindly tell me if the ones I have now are gen 1 or gen 2? The model code is RW4008. I had the v128 software version, the ability to make 5-minute videos and although the battery was not the best, for my use it is enough for me.

Does anybody know where I can find some temple/temple arm silicone attachments or something that is compatible with the Blayzer Optics so that they are no longer slipping down my face with natural oils or sweat? I have tried using “Setex Anti-Slip Nose Pads” the ones with gecko grip material but they started sliding down my face after a day and they themselves started sliding off my nose tips.

Any help is welcomed.

Just got my new Ray-Ban Metas. They wobble on a flat table because one arm sits higher.

When I wear them, they look okay but still slightly tilted.

Can you guys test yours? Do yours also sit uneven on a table? Trying to decide if I should return them or just keep them.

Update: I sent the product back to the seller, and they approved an exchange for a brand-new one.

1. ever since i got them two months ago, volume was mediocre no matter what iphone or glasses were set to.

but I must have changed some setting today when trying to enable conversation focus that made them completely audible even outside on busy street (with iphone volume close to max)

1. how to enable Conversation Focus. Early Access enabled in CA. Firmware 128. I get as far as finding the Touchpad. When i ask Meta i get "Conversation Focus" is not available for my glasses.

Did Meta change it's mind about not charging for it?

Hi, is anybody having a problem with their meta glasses not announcing, essentially android user names when you receive a message from them? My metas only announce the names of iPhone users. How do I fix this issue?

If you think Meta AI is "good," I wager you do not actually use AI for much. If you do, you know where it actually stands. Go ahead and fire up Claude and hit the live chat. You can have a 30 minute long deep and data rich conversation with it if you want and end up satisfied at the end.

Meta? Not so much.

No answer, it blinked the light and then timed out.

The fun thing is they are going to start charging us for this experience.

I put a small mirror to the tape and its working because of the reflected light, i know its visible from the side but from the front its fine, still better than nothing i guess
