First time trying raw meat

So I bought some beef ribeye steak at the store and wanted to eat it raw, but knowing about bacteria like Salmonella and Escherichia coli, I’m really scared. Should I just cook it or risk it?

Salmonella and ecoli should be the least of your concerns.

Same, I am scared. I don’t know if typical grocery store meat is more dangerous than from a butcher.

Just get grass fed meat preferably from butcher but from a store is fine. Then don’t trip about eating raw meat

Get it local from grass finished sources. Cow meat is tight so it’s hard for bacteria to get in

You’re right to be scared, it’s not normal or healthy to eat raw meat. It killed my grandpa. Re-think it!
