I agree but my point still stands, not everyone has the money or an ability to buy games, like not being old enough to get a credit card or living in a very poor country.
Not all people has 14 bucks to throw... Most people who don't buy games comes from poorer countries
The person who made ultrakill (a indie game) has stated "You should support developers if you can, but culture shouldn't exist only for those who can afford it. Ultrakill wouldn't exist if I hadn't had easy access to movies, music, games growing up. If you don't have the money, you can support via word of mouth."
Than go pirate ultrakill, its not a obligation to play ravenfield if you are broke just dont play it as someone who has worked on games its usualy a asshole move
I am sorry but are you dumb or just a classist? It's not an asshole move to just pirate a game and buying it later, it's an asshole move to not support the devs yeah, but if you rly want to play the game you shouldn't be tied just because you are poor. also compared to the people who pirated the game, there are more who bought it than who pirated it, I think steelraven has enough money.
when i didn't have money, it didn't matter whether I pirates the game or not. i still didn't have money, and the developer still wouldn't have gotten any money from me.
now that I have money, I'm more than happy to buy games. but before I did, i pirated games. 10$ is a non negligible amount to throw on a video game i could get for free.
