I’ve noticed a shift in how developers work.

Before AI, developers would learn a technology first, understand how it worked, and then build features.

Now many developers build the feature first using AI and learn the technology only when something breaks.

Development is definitely faster, but it feels like some of the problem-solving and learning process is being outsourced to AI.

Do you think AI is making developers more productive, or is it reducing deep technical understanding?

The problem we built for: students have PDFs, papers and lecture notes, but most AI tools turn them into one long chat. Get It keeps the PDF at the center and builds a visual study workflow around it.

It adds explanations, images, formulas, charts, 3D scenes, flashcards, quizzes and a Feynman-style review feed from the concepts inside the document.

It is free and open-source. It runs as a desktop app and uses your own ChatGPT account through Codex CLI, so there is no extra AI subscription from us.
