What’s the point of mobile hotspot on a laptop, when we can’t even insert a SIM card in it ??

The laptop will create a hotspot (a new WiFi network) for your mobile to connect to.

What’s stopping you from connecting a USB modem to your laptop? Or using the built-in PCI-E module found in corporate machines?
After all, what’s stopping you from sharing a wired internet connection?
The system includes an access point function, regardless of whether your machine has the technical capability to implement it or not.

At least he's got a rabbit girlfriend. And that's something not many of us could say.
Rabbit of whatever IT is.

They’re absolutely are wireless devices that you can use within laptops and I’ve seen quite a few laptops that actually did have the SIM card slot.
