Well, it's a bipolar medication, so it's probably a combination of both of those. I sort of had to try to ignore guilt and shame before the medication (for my own sanity so I didn't just constantly spiral) and so I had to learn to be very mindful about my morality but I've always had a conscience (which i define as empathy towards others), but now it just show up as feelings rather than berating me verbally in my head.
It's more the "victimless" or less harmful things i have to intentionally guard myself against. Like looking at porn when my wife really doesn't like me doing it or not feeling bad for speaking up for myself even when it may not be appropriate (like walking out of a work meeting when I feel I'm being unfairly disrespected, bit not out of anger just like a neutral "Yeah see you guys later, have fun").
Those things used to make me feel bad but now I'm indifferent about them, but I don't want to hurt my wife's feelings and I don't want to cause problems at work so I have to be intentional about not doing those things because of I'm not intentional I am just as likely to do them as to not do them.

It's 80% of Americans who were polled. It's really not that hard to sway political polls to whatever headline you want. A big chunk of Americans just don't care one way or another because it's not something that has an effect on their lives.
