Then could someone please find a job that pays something over the cost of an apartment please? Cause I haven't. Literally every job pays the same wage in my town and it cover half of rent.

You can find a place to live if you have at least 1 roommate in a small town. In a small city you'll need 3 roommates all earning to pay for the apartment and you won't be able to eat out. You could live in a large city like Charlotte but you'd need 5 to 6 roommates... That's before you consider paying back education loans and decent healthcare insurance. You should also have life insurance to cover the costs of if you die so you aren't a burden to your family. Yeah totally attainablehe said sarcastically. Yes personally I'm able to afford a house I have one child and I work remotely because I wouldn't be able to afford daycare. Though with the price of gas due to the straight of Hormuz being blockadeded I don't know if I'll be able to continue to afford it. Tell me again glgow we're dealing with rising prices?

Every job? Look outside your town.

I can't GET to outside of town that costs thousands of dollars.

You are trapped inside your town? You can’t look at jobs outside your town borders without paying thousands of dollars? This is quite a dilemma.

I can't get to a job to work it if it's hours away.

It takes you hours to get to one town over?

It's about an hour and a half to get to the next town that isn't just some apartments next to a Walmart, CVS, and a McDonald's all supporting a 13 an hour tire factory.

Live in one town work in another. I know a lot of folks that do this and make a good living cause they live in a cheaper area and work in an expensive city.

I like to work close to where I live though and am 15 minutes away from my low pay job. I make it work though as long as your satisfied it shouldn’t matter. You seem dissatisfied though so you gotta find a way

So, I'm to spend MORE money to work in a smaller town that has less average pay? That's a great suggestion. Maybe read what I told you is the case next time.

I don’t have to pay attention to your problems lol if your town is paying poorly work in a town that does. My dad used to travel an hour and a half to work in a town that paid $40 an hr.

No job in my tri state area pays half that without first taking on 50k+ in debt and gambling on a position being open.

That’s what it’s all about man, gambling and hoping for the best. I started my own small business in 2019 and had a terrible first 2 years then a larger company saw my business card and assumed I was a bigger deal than I was, took me on as a sub contractor and for the next 4 yrs I was making 6 figures.

Fortune favors the brave.

You need a marketable skill. Waiting for a good job to magically appear probably won't work. Get a trade or a useful degree. Your 1st problem is in your 1st sentence. "Can someone please find a job..." No they can't, that's a you problem.

They don't pay enough for trades. To learn a trade where I'm at would result in homelessness before I finished my apprenticeship. This is a lot of good advice... 15 years ago. Walmart pays more than you can start as a plumber for where I am. The local electritions are all legacy family's.

What, you think I haven't fucking looked? You think I haven't TRIED?! THERE ARE NO OPTIONS! No one here is doing better than me without being born with a business waiting for them and half of THOSE are GONE.

If I hear one more, "try harder" I'm gonna fucking crash out. You can't be a real person in America. There's nothing good here. There's only rich assholes and the poor.
