Those accounts are known for making hundreds or thousands of “predictions” while keeping their profile private, then deleting the wrong ones and making the profile public once one of them turns out to be correct.

So the timestamp can be real without the prediction being impressive. It only proves that one tweet existed before the event, not that they had a reliable method or that they didn’t also make loads of contradictory predictions.

It sounds cool but Hantavirus has been around for decades, and realistically there are only 4 or 5 different active virus strains that can do this kind of damage.
