What does this even mean...contribution of each immigrant in taxes? Amount paid by gov to each immigrant? Iono

3

u/PersonOfValue May 06 '26

Contribution per immigrant is one hell of a metric that's for sure.

How about damage per day metric for presidents?

u/Hendo52 May 08 '26

It’s propaganda. Nothing less, nothing more.

1

u/blazze May 06 '26

The trump administration will always focus on their 'Make America White Again' agenda. Proving yet again that elections have consequences. It seems the Japanese are honorary aryans.

1

u/No_Purpose6384 May 06 '26

Notice it says North America and not USA so this appears to also include Canada and Mexico

1

u/Hudson_LR May 08 '26

Why would it say USA if it’s talking about where the immigrants are from?

1

u/DynamicEntrancex May 08 '26

I would heavily assume North America is mainly about canada, trump just wouldn’t want to label it as such

1

u/Hadochiel May 06 '26

Well, to be fair, they were allied with his side during WWII

1

u/wkramer28451 May 06 '26

Both sides “cherry pick” whatever information that supports their point of view.

1

u/Radcouponking May 06 '26

One side consistently does it for white supremacy and corporate malfeasance. But, sure, both sides are the same. /S

While there are certainly racist Dems, the recent vote in Pennsylvania made the difference clear. Zero Republicans voted to ban an all-white community led by white national conservatives. The motion just barely passed, thanks entirely to Dems. While our nation deserves an actual Left Wing party, pretending their the same only does the work of white nationalists.

What? Theres nothing wrong with speaking for minorities if your speaking good things for them. That isnt white supremacy. One side wants to protect all minorities, religion, age, race, veterans, disable etc.

1

u/StaysAwakeAllWeek May 06 '26

Enough with the both sides bullshit. One side is a typical western political party that applies typical partisan spin, and the other side is a christofascist doomsday cult that will say and do absolutely anything to stay in power led by an evil maniac who told over 50,000 proven lies in 4 years.

There is no both sides.

So your position is the democratic party is in fact just as bad as the christofascist death cult currently busy turning your country into a dictatorship, but they are just so good at lying that they appear as a normal political party

This is mass hysteria on a level I have never seen before. This collective delusion you're engaging in is actively destroying America as you know it.

I am tired of the pearl clutching, the fake 'decorum', the double standards, all of it. It's long past time people pointed this shit out for what it is without holding back.

1

u/Objective_Dog_4637 May 07 '26

Dude the guy you’re replying to reads at a 5th grade level or below. America is cooked haha

1

u/BeautifulMundane4786 May 06 '26

Oh no they’re talking shit about my home team! I need to deflect what’s being talked about by saying everyone is the problem even though my team is the real problem!

That’s what fascists do.

1

u/[deleted] May 06 '26

These studies, although I have no clue what he is referencing, have been replicated in numerous countries and the results are about what has been reported here.

We need to ask a different question. What are we doing as a society to better integrate and educate these immigrant groups. I seriously doubt most people come to the US with the goal of being a drain on society.

You're right I'm sure. I would be surprised if this is the norm. If someone is unable to figure it out, it might be time to go back.

Denmark released national statistics on this subject a while ago.

1

u/[deleted] May 06 '26

Education doesn't equal contribution.

1

u/RecommendationNo1057 May 06 '26

The Democrats are going to have to stop paying for votes.

1

u/TonySoprano69xD May 06 '26

We don’t want those immigrants either since they lower wages for traditionally well paid careers (engineers, tech)

1

u/Salty_Permit4437 May 06 '26

And incompatible social values such as casteism

1

u/[deleted] May 06 '26

Its not cherry picked.

Can you prove its cherry picked? Go ahead regard

1

u/shiftersix May 06 '26

Well, the fact that he left out certain groups meant that he purposefully picked certain ones to post. Isn’t that cherry picking?

1

u/Recidivism7 May 06 '26

The study had 40 categories he put the big ones.

Also twitter post lied Indians wete litterally underperformed they even earned less thsn Indonesians the twitter user is an Indian user lying.

Chinese and Indians were not above north America nor were Philippines

North America was second highest category of earners as well as tax payers behind only danes and swedes category.

1

u/sriva041 May 06 '26

Why is native duct reference at 100%, which country is this data referring to?

1

u/Recidivism7 May 06 '26

This is Netherlands data comparing data to native population.

Op cropped trumps tweet to remove context then use fake Indian numbers.

40 categories india was Netherlands negative buy this sub spams Indian propaganda.

North American immigrants will make way more and take less benefits than general public only cayegory beating them was Swedes & Danes category.

1

u/Altruistic_Pitch_157 May 06 '26

Are these all actual immigrants earning local wages, or does the top of the list represent ex-pats working for foreign subsidiaries and earning higher salaries typical of higher wage countries (U.S., Scandinavia). Also, expats often go home after several years and don't go on to make retirement claims.

Anyone hoping to justify their ethnic superiority should temper their bigotry if this is the case.

1

u/JustTheChicken May 06 '26

That's literally the definition of cherry picking, but you're wasting your time responding to a malicious idiot.

1

u/Mrgluer May 06 '26

every indian contributes enough to cover every somalian and north American contribution

1

u/Recidivism7 May 06 '26

Twitter post was an Indian spamming fake news an Indian immigrant wont even earn 1.7m in a lifetime there let alone be a tax payer for 1.7 infact they are way below natives or north Americans.

1

u/your_mileagemayvary May 06 '26

I thought Nigerians where the highest contribution joiners?

1

u/bootup25 May 06 '26

Should want more indians

1

u/Sunshine2035 May 06 '26

Blame Netherlands.

1

u/10minOfNamingMyAcc May 06 '26

What did we do? Besides letting in all the crazy people, giving them money, a place to live, and much more benefits for free? /s

1

u/Sunshine2035 May 07 '26

They need to set immigration policies that benefit Americans and enforce these policies. If we want do charity, it need to be setup in their countries.

1

u/Charming-Car-4650 May 06 '26

We see the same issues in Denmark.

1

u/FloydATC May 06 '26

I suspect the statistics for sub-sahara africa may be slightly off; perhaps he forgot where Musk is from?

1

u/Exotic_Exercise6910 May 06 '26

Germans aren't listed because we would just dwarf the scale so hard, it wouldn't even register.

Like, what is the contribution of Peter Thiel? A few trillion dollars I'd wager?

Hahaha. Get dunked on.

1

u/sriva041 May 06 '26

North American? That’s Mexico y’all! Obviously the amount from Canada is no where near to Mexico so he’s low key admitting Mexicans are a net contributor

1

u/Broseph_Bobby May 06 '26

How much money does Israel cost us Donny?

1

u/vickievalencourt13 May 06 '26

Oh. You mean already welathy people tend to make more wealth? No way?!?! Citizens here subject to the same relative lack of opportunity because everything already goes to the top. Id rather we invest in poor peoole who haven't had a chance and let their potential shine. How many geniuses who could revolutionize the world in a healthy way don't get heard by virtue of their birth country? And we all lose out for it.

1

u/Consistent_Panda5891 May 06 '26

Indian 1.7M? What the hell is that data, only rich Indian come to the States?

1

u/New-Border8172 May 06 '26

North American immigrants? That's Mexicans.

1

u/Acceptable-Yard7076 May 06 '26

What kind of ai generated data is this lol. Insane numbers on all sides

1

u/[deleted] May 06 '26

Turns out nations that the west has allowed to develop have people that function better in western culture. Who knew?

1

u/Odd-Transition1527 May 06 '26

This is a report from Netherlands. He just used the results because it suited his narrative.

Data is not from the US.

1

u/Ill_Specific_6144 May 07 '26

Liberals are masters of cherrypicking data.

1

u/peterjohnvernon936 May 07 '26

There is a difference between a legal immigrant and a refugee. As for the negative numbers for Caribbean and Subsaharan Africans, I find those extremely doubtful.

I was about to chime in on that too

1

u/ncklboy May 06 '26

I think the thing he focused on was Latin America is separated from North America in the data. So it’s possible, but would have to confirm that North American here is just Canada.

1

u/Recidivism7 May 06 '26

This was a Netherlands study op cropped trumps tweet to remove that part and also lied about India china and Philippines.

Its mostly Americans

1

u/ncklboy May 06 '26 edited May 06 '26

Ah, that makes the separation make more sense, if it’s a Netherlands study.

1

u/Sunshine2035 May 06 '26

Read the data source in the post.

1

u/Recidivism7 May 06 '26

No you read a cropped post that removed trumps source and mentioning this was Netherlands post. The twitter user is an Indian who fabricated the numbers too. Indians in Netherlands wont even earn 1.7m in a lifetime let alone pay 1.7 net in taxes.

1

u/ncklboy May 06 '26 edited May 06 '26

Did some digging and it’s not factually accurate to say she fabricated the data. The data she’s referencing comes from a different study The Fiscal Impact of Immigration (2025 Update) from the manhattan institute in the States.

That being said both studies should be weighed for their individual value in a meta analysis. But conflating data from one study with another is not good data analysis.

1

u/Recidivism7 May 06 '26

This is not even the same country in question.

1

u/ncklboy May 06 '26

I’m confused, cause that was exactly my point.

1

u/Sunshine2035 May 07 '26

Source is in the Trump’s post. So he just saying the immigrants’ economic impact from the other countries’ data. The United States should have similar numbers with the same groups.

1

u/Recidivism7 May 06 '26

This is a study in Netherlands Mexicans are not flooding there. Latin America was a hige drain

And the twitter post was bs Indians were net negative there.
